There’s this Jaga Singh who was working for a multi-millionare as a
night guard. One day, while the millionaire was driving out to catch
an early morning flight to conclude a business deal, Jaga Singh ran
out from the guard house and stopped the millionaire’s car just right
in front of the gate.

He said ‘Sir..Sir.. are you going to board a plane?’ ‘Yes, why?’
asked the millionaire. ‘You had better cancel the trip. You see, last
night I dreamt about the plane going to crash.’

Curious over the early morning fright that Jaga Singh had given, the
multimillionaire decided to cancel his trip. ‘You better be damn right
for this is a million dollar deal.’

The following day, there were news reports that the plane which the
millionaire was supposed to take had indeed crash landed. ! ‘Thank God
I cancelled the trip,.’ the rich man said. Realising that what Jaga Singh
had said had come true, he called the Singh to see him.

When the guard was called that morning, the millionaire gave him his
salary and FIRED him.

I am a new member. Have gone thro your website and found many interesting activities.

Currently working full time, staying in the east/ kembangan area and would like to network with silverhairs with similar  interests. 

Basically, I am easy going and there are a couple of thingy,  I would like to do and learn new activities, if there is anyone out there who is willing to teach.

1) cycling

2) MJ…… I see you have already started a ‘class’ ……… but me hor a total beginner, so got to be patient with me!

3) skating, if there is any?

I am a social tennis player for quite a no. of years, playing 2 to 3 times per week and also teach/do line dance.

Our monthly Social Dance Night starting soon. It will be held every 4rd Sunday of the month!

Having three different dance routines on every Friday and Salsa on every Tuesday every week may prove to be too taxing for us. Miss Maggie Ho understand that we needs practice otherwise all that we have learned will be forgotten!

This year 2008, instead of the regular Games Day, we shall be having  "SHC Swimming Day" in an Olympic size and chidren’s pool.  We had tried a Sunday and Saturday morning.  For many, waking up on a weekend is a problem.  So, we shall have a relaxing Sunday morning at Kovan Melody, courtesy of Ah Nee.

Now that the date is coming close, next month, it is our usual style to appoint an Event Organiser.  She is Lina Ng, a great swimmer, able to do at least 20 laps and tall enough to stand at the deep end of the pool.  Lina is assisted by Suzhang and Ah Nee.  Thank you ladies, and I am sure we shall all have a lovely Sunday.
