  1. Hi Douglas, how are you? been quite a while no see you lao ..
will join you for the ride…. Grace please train me well, cannot
ride well ;) I wish to train and ‘challenge’ with Douglas speed
    and skill… haa ha..

  2. Eileen Ang

I believe you are kidding. Grace will only be training newbies or beginners. If you really need that type of training to go on par with Douglas, I can train you. But you must be prepared for “pain pleasure”. This term may be new to you but simply it means get all the pain before you enjoy the fruit of labor. Mentally, it will be pressuring and physically, it will be extremely tiring. Anyone who needs this type of training, can sign me up as your coach. Any breach of contract, you will have to compensate me.

    Douglas

Tentatively, I will be coming. Thanks.

  3. Hello Douglas,

We, Lina Ng, Charles Chua , Hou Chong, Melissa Khng and I will be coming to join you.

Pending Jane Yeoh response to my call, 3 of us (Melissa, Ah Nee and Jane) will be cycling from home (Kovan) to meet you guys at Lorong Halus wetland around 4.30 pm before proceeding to Punggol waterway. See ya :)

    Grace Kok

  6. Hi Yew Keong,
My pleasure to train with you, I enjoy riding with you and Douglas
and passion rider in SHC . But I prefer to train leisurely with no
‘pain pleasure’ . Hope to see you and ride with you leisurely. ;)

    Hi Grace,
No worry, we ride and learn from one another, just kidding as what
    YK’s comment.

  8. Hi Douglas,

  9. Hi all
Yes, there is a bike rental kiosk at car park C. Bike cost $6 for 2 hrs.
As usual, we are always mindful of those who do not have their own bike.

  10. Hi Eileen Ang
You brought back fond memories from our past cyclings to Desaru and Sungei Rengit, not forgetting trekking and mountain climbings in Malaysia, Yes, those were the days.

Happy to meet up with you again.

  11. Hi Lai Fong

    How are you?
We have not met up with you for a long time, do share with us your recent trekking and mountaineering adventures.

    Cheers

  12. Hi Douglas
Thank you for organising and leading the group to an enjoyable afternoon of cycling from P/Ris to Ponggol. I found the stretch of the PCN which ran alongside of Sungei Serangoon and Serangoon Reservoir, very charming. I must confess that this route is my personal favourite because at Ponggol Point, there is a vendor selling “poh tong” ice cream .. hehe.

The weather was kind to us today. I trust everyone had a good ride just as I did.
I am pleased to meet up with all of you.

  13. A lot of changes is happening at the Punggol Jetty. A nice place to cycle as well as hanging out. The cyclist usually stop here for a while to enjoy the “potong” ice cream. Next round we can try the newly open seafood restaurant and other eateries around there.
Oh yeah……there’s also a bicycle kiosk, there can be the starting point for Ponggol PCN cycling too. ????
Thank you Douglas for leading yesterday ride, I enjoy very much. ????

    Ah Nee
