Effective July 2014, we shall now start the SHC monthly lunch gatherings.  We hope that this lunch time gatherings will encourage both working and non-working members to come together, and get to know new and more friends.  Feel free to exchange social and business discussions.  Feel free to chat on travel, current affairs, events, families, etc. Feel free to bring along your flea mart items.  The Club monthly lunch will have no EOs.

Strictly no discussions on politics, sex, race, religion, direct selling and MLM.

  1. Venue: 313@Somerset, Food republic, on top of Somerset MRT station.
  2. Date:  Monday 7 Jul 2014.  (Every 1st Monday of the 1st week of the month.)
  3. Time: 1100 am to 1400 hours. (official hour is 1130 hour to 1330 hr). Seats are easily available if you come before noon)
  4. Food and drinks as per your order, from the various stalls.
  5. Seating:  Club members can gather near the glass windows, between SOUP KING and TOAST BOX.  Make your own arrangements.

** Registration: You should indicate your coming on this Post, so that other members know you are coming.  Do not write or give away your name, telephone number or email address on any piece of paper circulated around.  This is to prevent you from receiving unnecessary calls, spam mails.  The Club only requires your registration on this forum.
** Membership batch: All members should bring their membership tag so that other members can see and recognise your name. No membership tag will be issued.
** Participants: For members. You may bring your friends, colleaques and family members to meet other members.

  1. Dear fellow SilverHairsClub members,

    We shall launch our Club monthly lunch wef 7 July. The place is fixed at the Food republic at 313@Somerset and held every 1st Monday of the 1st week of the month. ust above Somerset MRT.

    Sometime this year, we shall be using this monthly lunch and location for new members to come and get to know us. Unlike other events, this lunch gathering is automatic held. So feel free to come and join the lunch.

  4. We are starting the SHC monthly lunch this Mon 7 July at 313@Somerset. We shall start this slowly and develop the event. If you are working, and get some time off for lunch, come along and meet others who are coming too.

    If you are retired, I too would like to meet you.l I think this is a good occasion. May be a good time to bring along your friends too.

  6. Hi Terence
    Tks for mooting the idea of this once a month lunch. Although the group was small (6 of us), we had an enjoyable time… chitchatting and making new friends. It was fun. Majority of us took the beef/beef ball kwayteow which was reeli yummy.

    I’m sure the group can grow from here :-)
