Judy Lim – Profile

emoticonHi ! SHCian,

I am Judy Lim & work as an  full time Accounts/Admin staff in Logistics Company which located in Changi Airfreight Center. Althought I am not really a good singer/dancer & yet this two activity are still my first choice of hobby. beside that I also enjoy travelling.

I was extracted by the name of ‘SILVER HAIR CLUB" thru the website & wondering what is the Association or Member club. after reading the forum, I would like to thanks the founder – Mr. Terence Seah to found the club to gather & brighten those in their 45 & above heart & social life. After my first attending at the Bali Lane on 15 Mar 08, I noted the member are quite knowledgeable/friendly & looking forward to my 2nd gathering in D/D which in coming Sat.

Lastly, I feel glads to join as a SHC member & proudly that all of us 45 years old & above still healthy in our health & strong in our body to achieve senior citizen’s life.

Cheer!!!

Now just starting to learn some small steps, trying not to look offbeat!

Judy…sori we chat astray at yr thread..ooppss!

  3. Hi Paul,

Nor meant it at bikin – it is malay for ‘to make’. She meant ‘not to make oneself shameful’ in this context. See you and Jenny around.

  4. Hi Lina Ng /Nor at 13,

…Nor meant it at bikin – it is malay for ‘to make’.

I thought she meant there is a “bikini”
contest on D and D glamorous night specially organised by our very enthusiastic Caroline Gee as a surprise to Shcians and she is shy to put on her bikini becos there are many “wolves” around. And she is shy of her “lemak”.
    Ha! Ha!

  5. Judy,

It is not “SILVER HAIR CLUB”. It is “SilverHairs Club”

Members who are beginning to become “HAIR” instead of hairy may become angry. So mind your words at the D&D.

    Hee hee

  6. PaulLeong @11…actually i dont get what u meant to clarify?..u want me to explain at D&D?..hhmm
Thanks you Lina & Steven for clearing the ‘clouds’I know both of you got A* for Malay!
alamak! Steven…tak manis cakap EO Carly ada ‘lemak’..very sensitive for ladies u know..nanti all of us tak mahu joget with u at D&D tau!hehe
WKT@16..apa macam, don scare the new kid in the blog on yr last sentence..sound serious leh!..kesian

  7. Where hearts and heads are in the right place, there is safety and love.

Apa macam with those not coming, Nor?

Let us have sweet and ripe grapes for desserts too.

  8. Hi Nor/Carly at 14,

Apologies for using the word “lemak” .

Never knew ladies in our Silver Hairs club is so sensitive.

Warning , next time my mulut dan kelapa kena sepak.

  9. Hi Nor #17,

Don’t be so sensitive lah. Steven is only practicing his malay.

Steven #19, Guess ladies are more sensitive, and that is why we are known as ladies. ha…ha

Hi, Judy Lim, Welcome to the club. See you at D & D. All these postings make your profile so much more colourful, eh?

  10. Nor,

D&D, and all the good and healthy activities including eating sweet and juicy grapes.

There was a fable/story about a hungry and hot-tempered fox who won’t jump up to taste one goodness; did not contribute in wellness and diligence but came with green and black eyes yet expected free serving on demand and on angry terms.

Strolled away with heaviness instead of gladness. Walked away with temper on hot airs and lots of jealousy, instead of being pleasant, wise, repented, useful, helpful and humble.

  11. Hi Andrew Kuan,

My Bahasa is terribly poor. Maybe with Nor and your help, got chance to improve. I remember at school the teacher make us watch a malay programme on TV and the next day it is question time. I tend to slide in my chair to make muyself shorter and less noticeable everytime a question is asked. And the teacher will always call on you!! Now looking back one can only laugh, but in those days Malay lessons were stressful!

  12. Hi Nor /Lina Ng at 20,

    …Steven..hahaha..ya lah,kita tahu awak tall & slim & lawah..takda lemak!

Mana boleh jadi “lemak” when my initials of my name is C. S. F. stands for Cannot Store Fat.

So you see my problem never been fat in my entire life since childhood and my growth is influenced by the surrounding Spore tall HDB flats and bldgs.

And so instead of growing sideways, I go upwards lah
    Ha! ha! ( skyscraper)

  13. #15 Dennis,

Thank you for your welcome note & SHC really is a big family.

    #16 KT,

Regards on whether hair/hairy is much batter that botak, right? hihi..

    #21 Linda,

No problem at all, colourful can be brighten my working life, rather than whole day reading the figures.

  14. Judy@26..her name is Lina not Linda…for once i thot u calling me..bcos my malay frens call me by that whereas my chinese frens call me Nor..
    anyway…looking fwd to meeting u.:)

Steven..no wonder lah..its in yr genes..bagus sekali no need to diet..hhmm

    Lina..i better get ready,where’s Ahnee..so quiet..apa dia buat ah?

  15. Hi I am back. Very sebok lah. Hands and legs all shaking. Very nervouse for tomorrow nite.

Norly, we got lemak at the correct places so its ok :)

Yay! Yay! Yay! One more day to go.

    See you all soon :)

    Cheers!

    Caroline Gee

  16. Hi Caroline

You have plenty of rehearsals for the BIG Day.

See your best dancing and shaking tomorrow, from hip to hip.

Relaxed and Enjoy lah, young bride!

  17. Aiyoh Caroline,

Go take 2 aspirins and get a good rest lah or you will be a nervous wreck by tomorrow. You have worked hard enough, I think harder than anyone else has ever done on SHC, so don’t worry too much.

Regardless of what happens tomorrow, I’m sure everyone will appreciate what you have done.
Hope you will enjoy yourself tomorrow too.

Kidding about the aspirins lah, hahaha. Just put your feet up and relax with a glass of your favourite drink.

    Cheers :-)

  18. Hi Caroline

With natural beauty, clear mind and a good heart you do not need any panadol or worst, aspirin.

Stay focus with your good work and be contented !

Drugs can cause liver and kidney failures besides can aggravate inner heart and head diseases; worse, with drugs comes body abuse and mind intoxication. Can get PHD too.

Stay happy and merry, see you and enjoy your hard work tomorrow. Let us have a pleasant evening tomorrow with smiles and interesting program.

    Cheerio !

  19. Hi CarlyG at 28,

Relax. Take a deep breath. Let your hair down at our
    D n D.

Be the long cool woman in a black dress and dance the night away.

    Night fever,
    Night Fever.
