Susan Tan CH takes over the role of Calendar manager

announce1  announce3  announce2

We have a Calendar which EOs and ECs can use to link their events to.  However, few members use it.  Once in a while, we have members asking where and when are the coming events.

I have asked Susan CH Tan to man the calendar, so that we can keep it updated for use by members.  On your own, EOs and ECs can put in their activities in the Calendar, and link it to the Post;.

Susan has kindly agreed, and she will man the Calendar.  EOs and ECs who do not know, unable to or forgot how to use the calendar can contact Susan for help. As a guide, if your event is NOT LINKED to the calendar within 24 hours, Susan will come in to help, and place the link for the Event organiser EO or Event Cordinator EC.  Ask her, if you want to know more about the Calendar.

Here is our Calendar.  https://silverhairsclub.com/?page_id=12691

Thank you Susan for helping up in the club.

  1. Thanks, Janie. It’s a simple job, really. No need to be called “Calendar manager” lol! But I dont know what else to call, so I leave to the boss!

  2. SusanCHT,

Thanks for taking up this role. Just took a look at the calendar, noticed that you have helped update our forthcoming walk on 7March in the Calendar.

  3. Thanks for your support and kind words, the 2 senior members of SHC, Carly and Christina.

Terence, I’m very appreciative for your unwavering efforts to keep SHC going and this is my small contribution in return.

I’m more than happy to show the EOs how to take ownership of “in-putting” their events in the calender – it’s very easy-peasy really, just edit and save and the data will overwrite previous data, including the name of the user. I’m sure they’ll be very good at it with a few practices.

  4. Hi Terence
Thank you for creating the post of Calender Manager.
I am thankful to Susan for linking up my post ‘Mother’s Day Celebration’ to the calender. In 2 months’ time, my post would be buried deep under and it would be ‘lost’ and probably forgotton.

My earlier attempt to link it to the calender did not work the way I thought it would. It went haywire and I have Susan to thank for coming to my rescue.

Thank you Susan for the good job! Keep it up!

    With Appreciation,

  5. Thanks for your encouragement, May & Yoon Chin. Well, like they say “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” So I’ll be pleased to show you how it’s done, if we should meet one day. Cheers!

  6. If you are organising an event for members, as an EO or as an EC, please feel free to inform Susan Tan, who will help you to put your event on our Calendar.

And, if after the event, you have some photos which you like to share with other members, please free to let Susan CH Tan know too. I have asked her to help; and she has kindly accepted. Of course, if you can do it yourself, it’s fine.
