Mid Autumn Free Gang Bang, @ NSRCC 12 & 13 Sept

Hi all ,

The Bungalow at NSRCC will be an open house to all SHC members to drop in anytime just to gang bang with all other SHC members.  So feel free to drop in with a few other members etc.  Come and bring whatever you want to share , either a story, a scrabble game, carrom game, card games , mah jong, titbits, etc.

It will be free except for the events that are already organised as follows:-

  • Friday Pm – Golf game at NRSRCC,
  • Friday Pm – Bungalow is totally free – for anything, scrabble , maj jong ,etc
  • FRiday Eve – Love of Country Music and Line Dance Event, $5 free coffee, tea, and Meal (Mini Potluck bring something to share)
  • Sat Pm – ‘Hair Cutting Class’ from 2 to 4 pm  , $5 free coffee , tea ,
  • Sat Night (inside Bungalow) – Social Dance and Line Dance, etc
  • Sat Night ( Beach outside) – Free and carefree Pot Luck and Camping event, bring your tent, lantern, fishing rod and join Terence , Douglas and others.  There will be a campfire (lantern) sing a long session till early hours. BYOB and snacks, etc.

Only charge will be $5 for each Indoor event for the whole day, except golf and other activities provided by the club like bowling, canoeing, etc.  Chalet rooms are available for bookings.

But for anyone who is free and just want to drop in with a group of frends to play cards, scrabble, carrom,  or mah jong please feel free to do so and just drop in and have this gang bang.  Terence may have an orgy at the beach in the wee hours, whatever that means.

Please take note, I will not be making any money from this event and whatever is collected hopefully can pay for the rental of the bungalow which will amount to about $500 , with GST and electricity, water chargers.  I am willing to cover this total cost as part of giving back what I have enjoyed from SHC for the last 2 years.  However what I hope is that what i can collect back can be used to book another chalet again for Dec, in this way I hope that there can be a sort of Chalet activity every quarterly, that is close to being free to all SHC members.

So for all those SHC members who want to have a place to share your interests, games or stories in a nice resort enrvironment, please feel free to do so. It will be free, but you have to give way to the main events, by moving to other areas, like the swimming pool, beach area, etc around the resort. But if there is nothing going on in the bungalow you are free to enjoy the air-con.   Cheers.

  1. RonaldW, thanks for committing to pay for the bungalow without firm responses from members . We will support you . You can look forward to seeing many of us visiting you at the bungalow. Cheers

  2. Hi RonaldW,

Would you like to create the different list of participants. Of course, if you are thinking of Chinese New Year open-house, then no need.

I definitely would join in the open tent, outside the bungalow. Anyone likes to join me? Please leave your name here. I can take 2-3 males in my tent. Dont worry, even if you are just thinking. I guess we will not sleep the Sat night.

    Terence Seah

  3. 3 males in a tent. Each pays $5 to RonW thru CharlesW.
RonW decides that $13 per tent shld be sufficient to cover costs.
So passed CharlesW $2 to return to Terence and the 2 guys.
For simplicity, CharlesW returned to each guy 50 cents and kept 50 cents himself.
So each guy paid $4.50, so total 3 guys paid $13.50.
Plus the 50 cents kept by CharlesW, that makes it $14.
But initially $15 passed hands, so what happened to the $1?

    hahahhaha…..happy Sunday to all!!!

  4. Hi Ronald Wie

Alice and I will support you all the way, upto the beach front where Terence nite camping is. No doubt we won’t squeeze with him in one tent, as Terence now is thinking of an “all males” affair, just like his “all males nite” which was held recently. Am now expecting an all “Cha Boes” tent to be erected right next to Terences. What a wonderful beach party, gazing out to the deep blue sea, and looking up the heavenly bodies for shooting stars.

We may also join in your dance sessions, whether is social or line dances, if time permits, go for a few games of bowling.

  5. Hi Terence, Charles, Ron & Alice and all,

It is just one way of reliving my dream when I can, hopefull it may come true in the near future. The dream home will be at Sentosa cove, inviting friends for golf at the front yard, then for wine & dine, on a boat at the backyard watching the sunset, playing cards, etc.

So that is why, i dont really want that much of organised activities, but more casual theme events, and be free, easy to come if you can in your cowboy hats, swimsuits, or pajamas etc, but most importantly feel at home, and enjoy time with SHC friends.

I dont have to hear heated argument of refunds if you cant come, etc,or this is for that, that is for this, rules and rules, etc. I just want some Peace, and lots of simple genuine fun. Just want all who share the same ideas, interests, hobbies to revise the lines dances, social dances, jamming, singing, listening to music, etc the like sea breeze in my dream.

I will do it again the next quarter maybe in Malacca, or Bintan chalet, if I can, that is if I can recover part of the cost, else hope I make more money next time. cheers.

  6. Hi Jun,

It is now already August and you are still brooding on this problem of the missing dollar. Cute problem that can be repeated everytime that will give all account keepers the annual nightmare balancing such problem posted by you.

By the way what has this problem got to do here in my Mid autumn dream? I already emphasise to relax have fun, sing, dance or just shake your booties up and down, not destroying more grey cells.

    Cheers

  7. Hi,

  8. Hi Ron

Yes, count me in on Fri 12 Sep. I’ll be in S’pore then. Hope to meet up with SHC members who are interested in doing the campervanning trip that I mentioned. I’ll try to put up another post on this soon.

I hope to join in some golf or perhaps learn to bowl. If not just watching or chatting is fine. Hope to find my way there.

    Joan (Perth)

  9. Hi RonW

I’m looking at the Fri afternoon slot in your topic post. Am surprised the mj, scrabble etc sessions are free. Are these activities taking place in the porch and not inside the bungalow?

Is it possible to have a three/four-hour karaoke in this afternoon slot and participants be charged $5 each (w free coffee/tea)? Hope to contribute to the bungalow rental if possible.

    Cheers,

Any one wants to play a game in the bungalow?

  17. Hello Steven,

National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC)is at the end of ECP cycling track. Remember we used to cycle there during our monthly cycling event. Unless you are cycling there, the actual road to that place is via Changi Coast Walk. The Bungalows there are very cosy and beautiful, not haunted even during the 7th month lah. Apa macam…so many people in the Bungalow, you still worry about ghosts huh….

    Ah Nee

  18. Erh Steven, you’re still in dreamland or what huh? By the time, gate closed for hungry ghost festival oredi. 13 Sept will be in its 8th lunar month… where got ghost huh? Dont forget that’s when some of you will be celebrating the mid autumn festival & eating moon cake lah.

If got ghost, Ah Nee will be the 1st to run…ha.ha..

    where got ghosts huh?

Plenty of them at the bungalow. Beware! Hum Sup Gwai ,Wai Sek Gwai , Mor Gwai, Koon Horng Gwai, Seep Chang Gwai, Tham Sum Gwai , Yin Gwai , Chong Gwai are all loitering around inside the bungalow waiting for the pe4rfect time to enter our bodies. Ha! ha!

  22. Hi Jasmine

Friday I have commitment. I prepare to go on Saturday take the earlier timing, ie 10.00am, staff bus from Tanah Merah MRT Station. If you are going, may contact me.

  23. Hi Christina , Charles and Veronica

Was wondering if you could organise your walk around the NSRCC as follows: Meet at Changi Expo MRT station, walk towards Laguna Country Club, then to Tanah Merah Country Club and ending at NSRCC to join us at the Pot Luck or just to drop by the Chalet to meet us or join us for the dance, etc.

There is also an MOE Adventure Park right beside NSRCC, any teacher or VP knows if we can arrange a visit to this park for SHC on Sat 13th?

There is also a Jumbo seafood restaurant, a food court, a lounge at NSRCC if potluck is not what you all want.

There is a free shuttle back to Tanah Merah MRT. Cheers

  24. Hi Beng Wi many thanks for all the effort put in. I certainly will play golf on fri pm and join the evening
programmes how about tennis on sat evening ? Any kakis ?
    Janet Loo

  25. Hi Janet @26

Good idea! Let’s have a tennis sesson on sat evening!
    I am interested.

Perhaps Ronald can help us book the court.

    Warmest Regards,
    Patsy

  26. Steven #17

NSRCC stands for National Service Reservist Country Club. Login to http://www.esrcc.com.sg They are located at the 1st right turn after you get into Changi Coast Road from ECP towards Changi Village.

Good recreational facilities there but food is resort price and lousy. I eat the lousy food everyweek only because I am lazy.

    Ronald Wei #25

Food from outside is a better if you are in the bungalow. Those who drive there can do ‘food runs’ to Changi Village or East Coast Hawker centre. But non-members have to pay for parking.

  27. Hi all,

Patsy ok if it is confirmed nearer to the time will book the court but you need to tell me the time and for how long.

Lim TS, noted that is why we better have pot luck, or pizza hut, kentucky or Botak Jones or ordered buffet.

Calling other golfers ladies and men, let us get another flight. New boy on the block you are such an avid golfer take the last slot ok on 12th Sept pm.

  28. #25 RonW, wie, wie… next time drop me a sms or email or phone me lah~! almost missed your msg then perhaps ganna hum tum. U know these days I am so bery caught in the net of work… in fact juz wrapped up some urgent work, and juz log in to search for something when I saw my name being mentioned… no wonder my ears was itching tehehehe

Anyway, 13Sep the Monthly walk trail is Changi Boardwalk but intend to change the trail a little from the 1 we did. Was it last year? You recalled you came too & it poured… as we had no shelter, we ran! Btw, how come dun c u at the walks anymore?

Tonight is too late to discuss, I’ll fone you tmr morn. Ooops is your tel# still the same? mine is.

    Regards, ChristinaCL Chan

  29. Hi Jassmine and Ron

Hope to see you and perhaps a game of scrabble and more chat.

maybe will skip golf on fri and see if I can fit in for Sat par 3 instead if I’m there.

    Joan (Perth)

  30. Hi Ronald,

Very happy to have met you at the NDP line dance. Also, BBCat, Joyce, Michelle.. Ronald, thanks for organising this. Will support, specially line dance night.

    Stay cute,
    Vivien Ler

  31. Hi all Country music line dancers, new and old member all are welcome.

Friday 12th Sept night will be our down memory lane night of all the dances we have learn since the first DnD and all the dances that we have learn from our volunteer teacher Hamidah.

So Andrew, Cat Yeo, Linda, Rene, Molly, Jasmine,Ler, Michelle, Lilian, Dennis and wife,Jenny, Paul,OC, Mary, and all that i can remember time to brush up your steps to enjoy the night. Dont worry if you have forgotten Hamidah will demo what you want and also some hip bollywood style line dances too.

So get ready to dance till dawn, and camp the night away with Terence by the beach. Cheers

  32. Hi Ron

Please put me down for Friday night, am looking forward to learn the hip bollywood style line dances too.

Please advise where I could get a cheap but good tent. might consider camping overnight on the beach to enjoy the cool breeze and watch the stars. If rains will chabot into the chalet.

    Cheers
    Agnes

  33. Hi Agnes,

Welcome to join us with such child like glee, am sure Terence can accommodate thee, but if not a cheap tent at Giant or Carefour they will always be, for less than twenty, a two man tent or for a lady.

Yes come join the festivity, dance, and nite activities whatever, we will see. If it rains you know where we will be. Cheers

  34. “Please put me down………..” Agnes, what has happened that you wished to end it all?

Jokes aside, every club has its owne rules, dos and donts. It’s not as if someone is hosting a party in his lavish garden where everyone can do as he likes.

  35. Hi Agnes,

RonW is right, you can get a good and cheap tent. You won’t regret because your tent will be utilised at SHC activities.

My tent is large, and can accommodate a full family. I am married, and kind of uncomfortable to accommodate married ladies in my tent. So, see u then, as my next door neighbour. Don’t make so much noise, eh?

    Terence Seah

  36. Hi Terence

Thanks for your advice, will invest in a tent. Glad to be your next door neighbour, Unless it is still 7th month. the noise thing????? Will shop at Carrefour or Gaint for at least 2 pax tent. For a 1st timer, what else do I need e.g. sleeping bag, mosquito repellant . Please advise.

    Hi Ron

Thanks for your lovely poem and organising this event, the members and I will certainly have a great time.

Aiyah Tim, my england is not wrong also lah. Kek Sim Kek Simmm now met you guys and gals, life is so much happening. Even not club gathering must behave and be sensitive to others.

Thanks guys have a great day ahead.

    Cheers
    Agnes

  37. Hi Ron Wie,

……is right, you can get a good and CHEAP tent at Giant or CarFull ..???????

However, when it rains heavily, the rain water can seep into the tent as some of my friends have experienced and REGRETTED buying the cheaper one.

    CHEAP is = POOR QUALITY.

  38. Hi Ron W!

Lim Tian Soo #28 had given us the website of NSRCC to do the necessary search.
I’m alerting you that there’s a bit of confusion @ yr 1st post.

    Tian Soo,
Tku for the posting the website for all of us.

  39. Hi Ron Wie,

Please include me in your golf game on 12 Sept at NSRCC.

Please advise tee-off time as I need to assign somebody to attend some personal matters in the afternoon.

    Thank you.
