Soccer Investment Advisory-EPL

I am on a yellow card to do a max of 15 lines. My 1st prediction(a little biased but based on last season’s results with due respect to the newbie lady who is as yet untested) is that Gary Lim of the Newpaper will top the Newpaper panel and the locals will again outshine the expats).

One tip for SHC readers  is to use a results charts based on last season’s results on home games only and a separate chart on away games only .Good ref publications like Football Weekly and Newpaper are useful as a guide but I have one bugbear of their format of presenting info. eg in their head to head column they present actual  past results of matches between both featured teams with no regard to who is playing at home and who is playing away. The Hill  City vs Fulham match is a good example; 1 away win and 2 draws. As  a pundit I am not interested in past Fulham(at Home) vs Hull City(away) results.I would rather know more of the results in previous years when Hull City were playing at home.

Take Arsenal $30 on the 1.5 goals.Take Spurs  $30 to win on the 1 X 2 and Hull City vs Fulham take $30 on the draw.Take $10 on the draw-draw on the HT/FT on the Hull City match and $10 on draw/away on the Spurs match.Take into consideration that "artificial  bad luck " (clue – something to do with Kukup trip on 23rd Aug.)If anybody has a different opinion do post it in this forum before the start of matches.I will post my analysis of other matches later as on thin ice – – – 15 lines axe.Go slow on 1st weekend.Good Luck!!!$$$

  1. Patick-K, you steady man, from one buak kiau you jump into another buak kiau, like that huh, very soon you si kiau kiau………….

So you too got a kick on yr mouth by horses and have closed shop with yr commentaries on racing?

I believe soccer betting is even more unpredictable and more kelonged that horse racing but knowing how die-hard punters behave, I will only wish you luck. Buy that little 555 booklet, draw 3 columns for cost, return and nett. Only then you might know when to stop.

  2. Hi Patrick

I’m a EPL fan myself and my favourite team is Arsenal. Last week I hardly paid attention to the league games due to the Olympics which I spent not less than 12 hours a day to watch. Nevertheless, I caught the football results on the website, and if I were to follow your tips, I’d have been poorer by not less than $80 already. Take for instance Hull vs Fulham: 1 away win and 2 draws, Ha! Arsenal on 1.5 goals win, Ha! Spurs to win, Ha! Some soccer advisory, your 15 lines axe needs to be axed. Even your Good Luck!!!$$$ doesn’t work that well. That shows the ball is round in soccer and anything can happen. Lucky thing you did not claim Man U at home is sure to win so bet all your dollar on Man U. Portmouth would be laughing their heads off. I just hang on to my personal hunch for football bet rather than you soccer “experts”. BTW, the right word is football in Britain for EPL as opposed to American football and coined the word “soccer” – Just “a different opinion (to) post in this forum”.

  3. To sustain the ravenous appetities of soccer prima donna who is numbe to know how to feel how much a week’s 150k GBP earning is, the betting market worldwide has to run into hundreds of billions yearly, and that is if you close your eyes to syndicate and illegal bettings.

It hurts that the EPL season has dawned on us again cos many who see easy momney to be made will borrow $1000 to bet and hope to win $1010 (sure win what !). Taieelongs are grinning as they place orders for ferraris, lamboghinis, and for now, their recruitment drive for debt collectors is on……….

  4. Ref #2 Chin Boon What is BTW?
Ref my investment of $110 with zero returns I did caution to go slow due start of season but certainly did not expect to lay a duck’s egg.Your admonishments(to be expected and understandable) were appropriate and well in order looking at my dismal performance.I expected Tim to chastise(hopefully by verbal spanking only) me with a barrage but he seemed more philosophical and fatherly in advocating against gambling(if one is losing)…likely Terence’s good influence on him.My first love in soccer is still Spurs(since Jimmy Greaves …I have even struck a miserable 3rd dividend of approx 100 pounds when I was a school kid with a limited budget…my soccer mistress is Arsenal(my current fave only because of Arsene Wenger) and my soccer plaything is Liverpool.I’ll explain why like Sol Campbell I like 2 sworn enemies. One of these days we can go to Modestos and agree to disagree or disagree or when to agree in the company of Tim and DC(Daniel Chan). With your latest post you sound like a guy(similar to TIM and DC) who can give a punch and can take a punch as well and fun company to be with.Due to line constraints I shall go into my ROI and expertise in another comment.

  5. My ROI on SHC forum is thus far :-
    1) invested $100 on Chelsea vs Man Utd European Champions League Cup Final
    2) invested $60 on Euro 2nd semi final Russia vs Spain
3)invested $100 on Euro Finals Spain vs Germany
    4) invested $110 on EPL 1st weekend matches involving Arsenal,Spurs and Hull City vs Fulham.
Returns on 1) $270 for Draw 3) $65.20 on Investment of $40 on Spain to win the Euro Cup.
TOTAL INVESTMENT $370 TOTAL RETURN $335.20 ROI is it 11.04% loss or 9.06% loss? Hi Yew Kwong I need help on this calculation investment divided by returns or is it returns divided by investment. My guess 9.06% loss.
My claim to fame as a soccer pundit is that I tipped the results of the last 4 World Cup matches correctly. In addition I was lucky to get HT/FT correct on 3 of these matches and got the zero goals for Germany semi final match
correctly. In the Finals I went for Draw/Draw as well as a token bet on Italy to win the Cup.I have the betting slips to prove it and my biggest bet was in the Finals with full confidence.I have other betting slips at good odds and losses as well.My other claim to fame is that 2 seasons ago when Eric Ding 1st joined the Newpaper panel along with Gary , Brian and 3 expats I went head to head with them for approx 8 weeks and I TOP SCORED on 3 match days with tally of overall 3rd early in that season when I was applying for a position there.

  6. Ref #2 Chin Boon. How did u fare over the weekend? Looking at the results My guess is that you did not win but did better than me and got some returns.I did not do a complete prep but just analysed based on my knowledge and Spore Pools odds which proved on hindsight grossly inadequate.I shall elaborate on a full prep some other time. But Tim n DC are convinced that for lack of a better word the existence of “ARTIFICIAL BAD LUCK”(hint word associated with Kukup trip on 23 Aug).Do you really believe that the ball is round with no interference from external market forces or the co-incidence of chicanery. If so let me ask you …is Spurs of last year when they won the semi finals against Arsenal and League Cup Final against Chelsea a better team than both of them.I already analysed that Spurs will carry the Cup(based on logic…their only route into Europe).I had some $ on Spurs to hold Arsenal to a draw when Arsenal was playing the 1st leg at home(have tickets to prove it).In the finals after 90 mins the obvious favourites to win the Cup was Chelsea but what were the respective odds?Lo and behold the Asian Bookies on internet were offering $100 on Chelsea to win and only $75 for Spurs to win.If u do not believe that this is happening than I fear the worst for your investments in this realm. If you believe than let’s meet ,enjoy our soccer viewing(hopefully with some SHC ladies for company) and compare notes. My take on Brian’s article on betting 3 positions on goal tally…HARA KIRI or SUICIDE.I wouldnt even bet on one position except for Zero goals or AOS when I Have the hunch!

  7. Hahaha, Patrick-K, you’re a smart guy, breaking up your novel into episodes to circumvent the 15-rule imposed on you.

Frankly, Jimmy Greaces will grice if he knows that you’re not playing soccer but sorcering bets. It’s hard to win $ if players’ love for the game is second to their love for money. And syndicates know that too well and know how and when to whet their appetites so no matter how hard you work on form, pitch condition, home or away, players’ suspension, it’s still a shell game……….

If you must must bet, do go for the bigger odds……..

  8. My prediction for this season …there will no runaway leader (not even Chelsea). The eventual EPL winner’s points tally will be lower than the last 2 years. The 4 favourites will drop more points against mid table teams compared to last year especially when away. The quality of squads of mid table teams will see them loosing by 1 goal margins when away or holding them to draws when at home and this year the 1.5 goals bet should be used very cautiously and judiciously and sparingly if possible.Better bet would be to go on the Half-Time/Full – Time when odds are low like last night’s matches.Yes you were right I predicted a Draw/Home for the Man Utd match but I got the Aston Villa/Man City 1 X 2 right together with the HT/FT but would have got the HT/FT Chelsea game wrong as I predicted a Draw/Home.However due to a business appointment I did not bet. Here’s a tip until Man City starts regaining their fitness continue to go against them when they are away and go for draws for they are at home dont’ get me wrong I have a healthy respect for Mark Hughes and he will manage Man Utd one day.He will soon turn things around and make them move up the table soon.My tip for weak teams will be Stoke(obvious) and Hull City despite winning and possibly Wigan for the drop so my advise is to generally go against them throughout the season.Anyway If u Guys can take the heat and willing to stand up and be counted to make predictions before the start of matches feel free to tip.My contention a semi-pro pundit(like myself) will do better than the average punter who does not do his homework and analyse some stats or trends. The punter who does not believe in the K from Kukup will loose his hard earned $ even faster.

  9. Hi Patrick

Here you go again. I like it when you write becoz it means dollars, never mind the sense (oops). Now you are really on the ball. Ha ha. Yeah Pat keep it coming..BUT, are you trying to write 15 lines in one sentence, so with only one FULL-STOP it is treated as one line??

Paragraph your text and make each sentence short. Paragraphs and appropriate punctuation marks let us pause and catch our breath, esp when $$$$$$ is concerned.

  10. I would like to take a survey on the soccer regulars like Tim ,DC and Ronald Wie and the SHC ladies as well.

What are your favourite EPL teams?.Maybe we can do something with this survey data. Please respond.

Who say I’m long-winded Ha Ha Ha!

  11. THAT’S IT PAT!! Short, sweet and succinct.

Good idea about the survey. Yeah, I think we should speak our minds on this EPL stuff. Not necessarily put our money where our mouse is. Just for the FUN of it. For a start Pat, can you reproduce the EPL schedule?? It did appear in the ST I think, but somehow I missed it.

  12. Ok, folks drop you both a hot tip before I rush to changi returning only Friday nite…..A-H for the Belgium match this afternoon. Good money there even if you were to lose……………

See you all, take care, keep well and be good………..

  13. Ref #12 Tim Liu
on hindsight u were looking for an overly ambitious dividend
A win on Nigeria or Home/Home would have yielded decent returns.YOu were right that Nigeria would win.As for me I was dawdling between a Home win or a draw and in the end did not get involved.

A betting stategy today would be to avoid big bets on the big 4 where the possibility of artificial bad luck associated with Kukup may creep in.Instead concentrate on going against what I perceive are the weak teams Stoke ,Hull and Wigan.

My big bets today are $100 on Newcastle to beat Bolton at odds of $1.70and $100 for the draw on the WBA vs Everton
    match at odds of $3.05

When the outcome is pretty obvious but odds are skinny ie below $1.50 than we should look for HT/FT bets.
The medium bets at $50 will go on Home/Home on Blackburn at odds of $2.10,$50 on Away/Away on Aston Villa at $2.15 and $50 on Away/Away for Chelsea at odds of $1.80

The small bet of $30 can go on Draw/Home on the Spurs game at odds of $2.10,Home/Home on the Liverpool game at odds of $1.78 and Draw/Away on the Arsenal game at $3.90.For these games I am confident of the final result but went for value dividends. If I can get a 50% strike rate I can show a healthy profit.

Fot value token bets $10 @ can be placed on Draw/Draw for the WBA vs Everton game at odds of $4.80 and Home/Home at odds of $2.55 and for the Newcastle game .You can downsize your bets accordingly according to budget.Good Luck!!!$$$

  14. latest update invested $460 for the weekend matches
return on $100 investment on Newcastle to win for return of $170 and return of $90 for investment of $50 on Chelsea Away/Away.

    Total investment $370 plus $460 = $830
    Return of $335.20 plus $260 = $595.20

    ROI loss of 28.29%

One weekend does not make a summer but already the 2 expats are at the bottom of the Newpaper table as I had predicted..My prediction that more top 4 teams will drop points has applied to Arsenal and Spurs(top 5 rating). But generally margins of victory have been small as predicted andn some even leading to upsets for the 2nd weekend.

    Post Mortem
I am lacking the chart of home only and away only results and table. My failure in 1st 2 sorties can be attributed to poor homework. In addition I have not bothered to study openiing odds and not even bothered to gather data on Asian bookie odds on the internet.I will incorporate these methods into my analysis from next week onwards. In the meantime my suggestion is to avoid the total goals bet and the 1.5 goals type of betting and results have proven so.
Until my form picks up as in horseracing for this weekend do play cautiously.Feel free to tip in advance in this post.

  15. Hi Terence ref#15

Did manage to comply for soccer and horse racing only …am I right?I even had to trim and chop some of them to comply and fit in.

However in some of the comments I had 15 lines but some of the words in one sentence jumped into the next line ie 3 words in one lin and 5 words in the next line when it is all supposed to be in one line.I trust you won’t hold it against me.

  16. Haha, Patrick-K, poor thing, only primary school boys were made to write lines for misbehaviour but here we have an ah pek punished indefinitely to writing lines. But unlike the schoolboy, he’s punished for writing too many lines….heee, Mr Kool, how many can count themselves as lucky as you?

  17. I’m back.Soccer is not making money yet so probably no following yet .This late tip won’t help or affect anybody
to make a bet at the counter unless they have an internet account.Did not have time to check Asian bookie odds on the net.
So here goes: Medium to Big bet confidence.History will not repeat itself…Croatia will not win despite shortest odds for Home win at $2.30 approximately and Home/Home at $4.00.I went personaly for Draw at $2.90 for $40 and $10 for Draw/Draw at $4.50.I am recommending a $80 bet in the forum for Draw and $20 for Draw/Draw.

This bet is for the Croatia vs England Game at 0255Hrs. this morning.Anybody care to tip otherwise?

  18. Another tip bites the dust…waiting for nuclear fall out from Tim although I was right that Croation will not win.Have a field day Bro.

Resolve not to tip again until I study Asian Bookie odds

  19. I have checked Asian Bookie odds and Spurs is giving half goal at odds of 2.075. The odds for away win not likely but the odds for draw a little high at $3.25.

For tonight’s Spurs vs Aston Villa game I will bet a little bigger to cover lost ground by taking Spurs to win at $100 for odds of $1.90 and $20 for Home/Home at $3.10 for the half time/full time.

My form since start of EPL has been poor so don’t follow me until I recover lost ground with some wins under my belt.Even with access of Asian bookie odds I still may get it wrong but I am going for home advantage

  20. Haha, I reversed yr bet, took Aston Villa to beat Spurs at an exact score of 2-1 and won $420/$30 (a 14 times return). So folks, if you wanna make money just bet againt Patrick-K…..you will definitely win if not today definitely before Christmas.

  21. Ref #21 Tim Liu
Your form can’t be any worse than mine at the moment but please be courteous to comment before the start of match no matter how late and not after the results are known. You probably can produce a betting slip so will give you the benefit of the doubt. So for tracking purposes will look foward to your next tip and see how you fare.If you are consistent I might even ask you to take over this column.Tan Chin Boon care to join the pre event tipping party?Let’s see if you guys can really do better.

  22. Currently, I am out of sorts, no form. But compared with your negative bordering miserable form, I am in heavens.

What I can see in you is more than passion…a fanaticism that has possessed folks like hambali, adrian lim. In their state of mind – what we call “walk fire in demon” (chou huo ru mo) – you cant see a football from balls btwn players’ foot (feet)? Since yr kind of ball cant be kicked to score goals, how can you win?

I go for the hunch. No hunch, no play. This principle, I stay, wont stray even if you alternate between bray and pray and yr backside you sway to try get me play it your way….

  23. My theoretical big bets on web-site will be on Man City and Spurs to win their respective matches with $100 bets each on the 1 X 2 and $20 on home /home on the HT/FT for Spurs game and $20 on Draw/Home for the Man City game for my main bets.
My token bets will be WBA to draw against Aston Villa, Chelsea to beat Man U and Hull to draw with Everton at $20 for each match

Hi Tim ref #23 and Tan Chin Boon(by personal email)…you guys have told me whatever I pick you guys will pick differently and bet.Good strategy indeed considering my current poor form.By the way I was featured in a write up by Eric Ding of the Newpaper on page 64 of 20 Sep 08 article .If guys you have a different opinion ie bet differently from me …appreciate you put it in forum before kick off…no point to tell me you bet differently from me after results are known.

Hope you guys take up the challenge and let’s see how you fare on pre-race and not post race basis .In Daniel Chan’s famous words and Lily Ho’s translaation “Ma Hun Pao”.

  24. Patrick-K, do pls post yr selections early bcos whatever you choose, they all go down the gtytters. Here, you tipped West Brom to draw Astin Villa but the fact was AV beat WB comfortably. And as I type, Man Utd is leading Chelsea; at Best, Chelsea can only dream of drawing Man U. Now, let me tell you aheas of the match thathalf time. At Spurs cant beat Wigan.

Yr horse tipping 13=15=10=5, haha, that was the joke of this sunday. The race was won by saimee’s chevron (3) and yr horse no. 10 died, yr no. 5 finished 2nd but fom the back hor, out of 15 runners.

You better stay away from home, the gangs are waiting, not the butterfly caterpillar or bang bang bang gang hor.

  25. Ref #25 On horses even though for this week my main choice came in 2nd and my 2nd choice broke down.Would would you say If I sms 3 friends including Daniel Chan with ” I like 15 and 10 but my friend(dont’ mention names came 15 and 3″
which turned out 1st and 2nd for the race.

I invested a total of $300 for EPL matches tonight but based on Newpaper odds I won back $190 for Man City game for the win and $63 for the Hull vs Everton draw which you conveniently forgot to mention total nett loss $300-$253=
loss of $47 …nothing to be ashamed of compared to my washout start at start of EPL.

Curiously I threw the challenge to u and Tan Chin Boon to tip before the start of matches with an email to both of you at 6.33pm.Chin Boon was busy socialising and wisely kept his mouth shut. While u very sneakily decided to reply at 9.54pm (Chelsea match started at 9.00PM.For the WBA match I gave u credit for being an accurate reporter of a result after the fact(you were not good enough to tip the result before start of match).Even that 1-2 result u reported wrongly as comfortably(margin of victory should be more than 1 goal if so). After knowing the score was 0-1 u pooh pooed Chelsea’s chances but did not predict a draw or a Man Utd win…how clever of you 2 choices against my one choice and even that after goal is scored. If u want to pit yourself as an alternative to my voice in the forum please tip before the start of matches and not at half-time.

  26. Ref #25 For the Spurs game you said Spurs can’t beat Wigan…that still means you hand the benefit of tipping after half-time and even had the luxury of a draw or a Wigan win against my one choice.Come on Brother Tim …are u so deluded in your own abilities to try this below the belt ,sneaky pot shot and predict with the hindsight of half time scores against my earlier predictions done before start of matches?.The day u or Chin Boon go Head to Head(take it as what you like 66 or 99 as the case may be or BJ if it tickles your sexually deprived mind) and make EPL predictions based either on your actual betting. We don’t necessarily have to tip the same matches we can assess who has the better return on investments.

Interesting to note that you conveniently left out any mention the Hull vs Everton and the Man City vs Portsmouth matches of which you knew the half time scores were in my favour. You must have a crystal ball or glass balls as the case maybe to sense I will get these predictions right.

While my form though improving is not fantastic I am willing to be exposed as rubbish if you guys can prove that you can do better …but please do it before start of matches and not at half time and after the match(WBA game)
and pooh pooh others with an unfair advantage and claim credit for it …must amend Daniel Chan’ s quote “ma ee pan hun pao”.I rest my tirade and put a tiara on you for misrepresentation and half baked/prejudicial reporting.

  27. Patrick-K, you’re throwing out a load of shit again. I told you as a fact in #25 which was aritten at 9.54 p.m., 6 minutes before the Spurs match started at 10p.m. – i dont predict – that it wd be a draw.

Well, if you really want to know how good I was, I placed a token $55 for the Spurs and Hull matches only and won $415. I aint compulsive, I did what i was confident and watched the other matches, sipping original Bailey, sad that you’re mati.

See, the differnce btwn me and you is : you’re carelessly voluble – some kind of menstruaion from the mouth that comes much more regularly than once in a month.

In yr 7naps tipping of race 9, you talked so big about placing big bets on horses 13, 15, 10 and 5…..but wasnt able to predict that one died in the run and the other finished 2nd last. The winner, chevron (3), was never in your calculation.

Unlike you, I now wager for the fun. Unlike you, I dont brag. To a psychologist, you’re a man in devastation, searching and trying to put together your shredded confidence. So you want to dabble in everything – offer all kinds of advisory – hoping that if you cast your net widely enough, you’ll land a catch. Alas, what you netted so far are tampons, slippers. You hv failed miserably save being the non-accidental entertainer.

Patrick-K, take a break. It did Steven wonders. Trust me, it’ll do you even bigger wonders. Last, not least, do keep yr 7naps or insiders mail from me…….I dont know whether to cry or laugh with yr nonsense.

  28. When u sent your posting why didn’t you declare u played a draw for the Spurs and Hull game clearly which I asked you to do so in the forum. After results are known than you declare you got it right. The next time be kind enough to tell us what u bet on exactly before the start of matches.

Just to let you know I did not bet these last few work whether forum tips were winning or loosing. If I did my horse winnings should be sufficients to cover all my losses on last 3 races and all soccer losses so I don’t understand what your bitching is about. In 7 naps I officially tipped one horse nbr 15 which came in 2nd;in forum I officially played 2 horses;in real life I did not play but told Daniel my friend played the 1st and 2nd horses and SMSs were sent to Daniel Chan before start of races and proof can be seen in memory of my Hp and Daniel’s if not erased.

Your reporting is certainly skewed when you said that I placed big bets on nbr 13,15,10,5.There were no bets placed on horses other than those I previously mentioned. The other mentioned horses were meant for people and readers to play the tierce and quartet.Your statements are so misleading that you give people the impression that my tipping is so lousey that I tipped 4 big bets and had those poor results you mentioned.I wonder what happened to your computer when I tipped the longshot Royal Suit and tipped the winning tierce and forecast? What about Waikato’s recent win(all of which were sent to your email). You were noticibly silent.Flaming me is fun but at least do it fairly and before start of matches than I will have a healthier respect
despite you labelling me compulsive.Would you believe that in most of them winning or loosing tip I did not bet at all!

  29. Ref #28
As per my SMS sent this morning at 11.10am

I am officially giving you a SURE WIN special offer.

Before you encash your winning tickets for $415 please make a photostat copy and show me on 15Oct at Kovan and I will buy you a soft drink(coke or similar).I presume you will not encash it before your lunch today.

If you are unable to produce your winning tickets you can buy me a drink. How about it Bro.

Next time want to shoot aim correctly or it might backfire on you.I don’t need to prove anything to you but I just wanted to show that both passions can be profitable and at least I have show one or overall both in total are profitable.I have a column in 7 naps(people must have confidence to invite me and my record on the internet on the website speaks for itself if u were to place a $5 win bet on all selections since the season started.Newpaper have seen fit to interview me on page 64 on 20 Sep.While all your claim to fame and correctness so far has been restricted to “ma ee pan huo pao” ie after the game started.
If u want to gain credibility and think u can do better please tip before start of races or matches. To be fair you did get the Euro Cup Final on Spain’s win correctly.

  30. Patrick-K, this is what you wrote @ #18 of your racing advisory :-

“Today’s bet is in Race 9
The 2 main contenders are 15 at 40% and nbr 10 at 35% nbr 5 at 10%,nbr 13 at 10% and old timer nbr 8 a longshot at 5%.However we recommend to focus on the 2 main contenders 15 and 10 when making serious bets.I recommend a medium/big bet of 50 wins and 50 places each on 2 horses nbr 15 and nbr 10

    EXOTIC BETS
Use 15 and 10 as the bankers in whatever you do in the exotics.
For forecast zero in on 15#10 and bet 50 tickets. For place forecast go for 15-10#5-13 with 20 tickets
    For trio go for 15-10/15-10-5-13/15-10-5-13-8-11
For tierce go for 15-10/15-10/Field and 15-10/Field/15-10 and 15-10/15-10-5-13/15-10-5-13-8-11
For quartet go for 15-10/15-10/Field /field with cover on 15-10/15-10-5-13/15-10/15-10-5-13-8-11.” The winner was 3, invisible in yr tipping.

Need I say more except that anyone who was naive enough to take yr tip tripped?

One win ticket costs $5, and 50 win tickets cost $250. To you that’s not big money bcos you tipped others to play but you stayed away. A hero leads; an anti-hero sees others bleed.

I have collected my winnings at lunch and treated my folks for a makan and had told the restauranteur not to clean up in case you rushed there for proof of my treat. Tsk tsk.

You and I are very dissimilar. You want to show and prove to everybody what you dont have. I dont prove to anybody becos I have them all. It’s about confidence….the good feel which you can only behold, marvel at and sigh.

I hav said it umpteenth times before and will say it one last time – do yr P&L in a tiny 555 note-book and balance yr accounts at the end of the year. And see how much you cd have saved, and many more who flip & trip under yr tips..

  31. Ref #31 Tim Liu You have still have not clarified whether I did ask people to place big bets on 4 horses.Fact I did not I asked to place on 2 horses …be man enough to admit it and not side step the issue

You claim I am compulsive.the fact is that I am not .If I have spare cash and have the time I will go in and bet with what I can spare and do not claim credit when I don’t deserve it.Claim the credit before the fact the next time and not after and than I will personally appreciate your accuracy or otherwise.

The bets in the forum are thoretical and you can always trim it to your budget as Daniel Chan often does.Since I am winning in the forum and the emails sent to the 4 musketeers(I will drop u from future lists as you have requested) I can afford to bet 50 wins and 50 places in the forum as overall I still have a profit.I don’t why you are moaning when the tips die and silent when they win…perhaps u have selective vision wearing tinted sun glasses seeing red gamma rays(red ink or losses) but you have a blind spot in your corneas to block out the blue gamma rays(blue ink or profits).Tipping a 2nd choice selection to come out last because of injury(good excuse) is nothing compared to your 1st choice tip on Ace Armada in the Emirates Cup.(tipping last is not exclusive to me only).
By the way I tipped your very same horse Ace Armada in his next run to win at $41/16. and you did acknowledge my prowess in this field although still sceptical.One-two losses is not a disaster when you compare with my overall record in the forum or 7naps record since the season started. Why don’t you reserve judgement till the end of the season and I invite u to proof your own abilities in the forum pre match or pre race.

Shall I buy(need proof) you a drink on the 15th Oct at Kovan or will you buy me a drink with your $415 winnings.Do let me know in advance so that this pauper that u look down upon can save up the coins so that i can afford to buy you a coke or any soft drink.Just make sure you turn up so that we can enjoy the drinks no matter who pays!

  33. Patrick-K, you said “…I asked to place on 2 horses…” and indeed you did as is clear here : …

“Use 15 and 10 as the bankers in whatever you do in the exotics. For forecast zero in on 15#10 and bet 50 tickets. For place forecast go for 15-10#5-13 with 20 tickets” Horse 15 died and 10 was grazing the turf. 50 tickets doesnt cost cheaply, and best, you twiddle yr thumbs, stayed away and gleefully watched from the bylines.

“The bets in the forum are thoretical and you can always trim it……” in as much as you’re theatrical and needs a mental trim to make sure you’re serious with tipping and not being theoretical (note the spelling) and so mislead.

I have said all I need to say to you for now, and will let you go search your own soul altho the search will be long and arduous as you have lost much of it.

If I cd make it for the October monthly gathering, please let me buy you a drink. So you’re obviated from the need to scrimp and save a bag of 1 cent coins only to be rejected for exceeding the legal tender limit acceptable.

No, I dont look down on you. On the contrary I hv said that you’re a good chap. Problem is, you say and write a load, forget almost immediately what you hv written and then try to wiggle & wriggle out. But when caught with yr pants down, instead of covering yr scrotum with both hands, you pull yr pants over yr head to cover yr eyes, believeing that therefore you see nothing. That, sadly, only makes you sink into a deeper pain………..and a longer recovery.

  34. Hi..guys. Here we go again. My name has been mentioned several times so I guess it is impolite not to respond.

Firstly, about Sunday R9. Yes Pat did send me an SMS about 3 and 15. I hope that will give his battered esteem some lubrication. For the record, I had left the turf by then, and the payout was skinny. It was too little too late but thanks anyway.

    Now the brickbats.

Tim could not have put it more aptly at #28 and I quote.

“”So you want to dabble in everything – offer all kinds of advisory – hoping that if you cast your net widely enough, you’ll land a catch. Alas, what you netted so far are tampons, slippers. You hv failed miserably save being the non-accidental entertainer.””

That was exactly what I tried to say at the R’ship Advisory post. Obviously Mr Khoo has not learnt to be concise and precise…..thus the can of cise (#28 again, first sentence)

Forget about the balls and all, Pat. Keep writing about horses. Your tip and my tweak sometimes do find the target. But no need to crow about your tip, just as I hate talking about my tweak.

will take your offer of coke after all wind and shit u have been throwing in my direction….still stuck in my throat …need to wash down with coke …all your distortions about bet on 4 horses and 1-2 victory by Aston Villa as confortable win .Ha Ha Ha

Will now upgrade my offer to inspect your winning coupons to one beer …how about it babe?

    Ref #35 Daniel Chan

Thanks for confirming my defence about SMSs the 1st and 2nd Horse which my people actually played…you need insiders information besides good handicapping and I did mention in my email that the pace will suit the 2 front runners 5 and 3 which proved to be so.

I have not heard any new complaints on relationship advisor to my recent replies in the forum so I must be doing something right.Anybody would like to comment on advice given…anybody disagrees?

  36. Patrick-K, you’re the proverbial grabber of a handful of sand from where you had tumbled but I will let you be after taking so much barb from me for no demonic a sin than talking big.

But like I cautioned you before, who in the business of racing, soccer will risk injury/death so that you’ll make money?

So do cook the form book as many endeavours are not run/played true to form. Losing is easy..it takes no effort and so if a hot favourite loses, it means that an outsider wins and the payout makes both the fixers happy, at the expense of the devout like you following form and condition to the T.

You can have a beer from me or a beer and a coke. No issue there althou if you had ceased and desisted betting the way you did, you cd have bought the whole joint selling the beer and the coke, with the sweet bartender thrown in as yr personal masseuse………

  37. There are some who think that I follow the form book blindly and if this was so I would pick Man Utd to beat Chelsea confidently but I suspect that bookmakers are trying to entice loyal Man utd fans with better than even money odds of $2.10 for a Man Utd win tonight. My recommendation is to take a $100 bet on a draw at $2.80 and a $10 bet on Home/Draw on the half/time full time at odds of $11.00 and an alternate bet of $20 on draw/draw at odds of $4.00 .This will be my official position for tonight..I should be on course for the correct prediction unless the odds for a Man Utd win drops to below $2.00 at the last minute.
I welcome my detractors and Man Utd (especially) or Chelsea fans to give an alternate prediction(anybody who takes a potshot after the result is known is only wise after the event and thus the potency of the comment is diluted.) before the match starts.
Most of our members are attending the Stars in Concert event tonight so will probably miss this posting till after the match result is known.I invite them to give future predictions in this posting if they think they can predict better and let’s compare scores for this year.I am starting on a clean slate with an opening investment of a total of $130.Even if my prediction is wrong let’s see my ROI when the season ends in May 2009 and see if I can turn a profit on investment!Good Luck!!!$$$
