Weekly Dance Session

Hi to all Shcians,

With effect from September 2016, all SHC members are welcome to join our Social Dance Session on every Tuesday except on Public Holidays at Changi Simei CC from 2.00 to 4.00 pm. Such sessions are FREE of charge. CC Dance Studio 01-04, see you all and cheers!

  1. SS James is a keen dancer, and an avid supporter of SHC dance events. He hopes more members will pick up dancing, and has offered his renewed challenge for members to learn and practise dancing.

    This is SS James 1st love, and he looks forward to share this hobby and interest with you.

  2. Thank you Terence for your encouragement on this on-going dancing session which started about 2 years ago. Currently we have about 25 regulars of whom half are SHC members. At times we have volunteers from seasoned dancers sharing with us on some variation/technics on dancing. After dancing we proceed to NTUC Foodfair for coffee/tea/food for fellowship which at times. last till 7.00 pm. As retirees we encourage each one to buy their own drink/food.

  3. This is JamesSS’ lamseng session…20 pairs of clicking happy feet…to the tunes of RonaldL’s good lamseng music…aiyoh! even my 2 left feet oso boleh! After la-lamseng, it’s la-kopi fellowship. Fellowship continued for many of them for la-teh and la-kara OK lah! next day! Blurrrrrrrrr……….

  5. Thank you, SS and the rest, I met yesterday at Simei CC, even though some might not be SHC members. Each and every one of them had been very helpful to coach me and bonding time were great. Will sure to support this whenever I am able to attend… Dolly

  6. Wow, today’s attendances was great… I did a rough count and confirmed that there were at least more than 25 SHC members coming to this weekly session. Good balance of pioneer and new members – with great bonding at nearest NTUC food fare after the session ended.

    3 cheers to James’ effort to make the session wonderful… Hip Hip Hurray…

  8. Thank you James for the wonderful time at the CC last Tuesday. My friend and I enjoyed very much the new dances we have learnt. And for your patience in teaching us the steps and guiding us. It was worth the half day annual leave I took to attend the session. Your effort is very much appreciated.
