  1. Salary depends on supply and demand. FYI the incumbent is also required to change adult diapers, that is why we want a women.

    You can drive my mother-in-law to ‘makan argin’ and take photograph everyday. I know you like that. You smile very pretty, she smile ‘bogay’ but I think you can make her happy.

    Only ‘kedang kedang’ you have to whip her backside…..’bulah tahan ka?’

  7. Just like to share with all SHCians that there are part-time vacancies for kitchen helper at the Language Centre’s canteen. I don’t really have a clue on the actual job scope but I guess it means taking orders, helping out in the preparation of food in the kitchen etc. I got to know of these vacancies because my boss is one of the shareholders and he’s asked me to help him look for some helpers since I’m in HR. I understand that the pay is only $5/hr and there are 2 shifts, e.g. 11am – 2pm or 6 – 8pm. Pls feel free to post comments here if you know of anyone who’s interested to do such jobs. Thanks, Lisa

  8. Hi Lisa,

    One of the things I find meaningful to do is help people, especially people with disability, find jobs. Before I approach my friends, may I know:
    1)Where the Language Centre is located;
    2)Does the canteen employ hearing-impaired people?
    3)Can the helpers choose to work only one shift?

    Thanks and regards,

    My e-mail: kdaae2005@hotmail.com

  9. Hi Jasmine,
    I can’t agree more that it’s good to help the real needy people but let me check with the owner if he’s any reservations on that. Will check and advise if they’ll consider those who wants to work 1 shift only – will get back to you k?

    Language centre is located at 287 Ghim Moh Road, so preferably for those staying around that area, otherwise not worth it after all the travel etc.

    Have a good weekend! Rgds, Lisa
