SEE ANDREA BOCELLI FOR FREE AT BOTANIC GARDENS, May 8 2010

Hi all

There are not a lot of things that comes free in life.  Thanks to Robert, we get to see free movies almost every month :-)

Now I have great news that we can watch Andrea Bocelli for free for those opera fans.  His last visit to Singapore was in 2004 at Singapore Indoor Stadium.  His tickets are super expensive as he is in the same class as Pavarotti.

A Malaysian tycoon has generously brought in Andrea Bocelli and this is not the first time he has done such a charitable act.

Please note that tickets are only given out by ballot and you need to register yourself at ytlconcert2010.com.sg and only a pair will be given.  For those successful applicants, pls put your names on the SHC forum and we will make a picnic out of it.  Of course, now I am crossing my fingers, legs, toes everything to hopefully can be one of those successful applicants.

    By the way, are you the same henry that I know ? especially MJ?if you are not, sorry wrong number but even if u r not, welcome to SHC. I believe u r new?

    Even tho’ u dun like opera hope ucan join all those succesful applicants for a picnic? Consider it a small Shc gathering?

    yes indeed this’s the same Henry you played MJ with. Wow! how time flies. Well I dont play tht much MJ for many years now, the idea of sitting down for 6-12 hrs at a stretch dont appeal to me. I’m more into the fitness thing.

    Ok, if I do get the tickets, all of us can have a small picnic together. FOR THOSE FOOTBALL FANS, DONT FORGET TONIGHT’S BIG GAME. I DONT BET, BUT I’M ON CHELSEA …..

    Yes indeed time flies. Glad to hear you are more into fitness nowadays. I have also cut down MJ and more recently due to back sprain, cannot sit for so many hours oredi, so will cut even more !!

    I managed to get the 2 tickets for the YTL concert so will be going with a SHC friend, Marlene Yap. We’ll most likely go for our lunch or tea first and then park our car opposite the Botanic Gdns and walk over as I’m sure there won’t be enough car parking space. See you all there! Rgds, Lisa

    Thanks to you…….we were among the lucky ones of 12,000 serenaded by Andrea Bocelli.
    His classical hits Canto della terra sang with Delta Goodrem is simply so enchanting……in the open fresh air (after a heavy rain), with wide sky.at the Botanic Gardens. I don’t do picnic anymore after my children has grown, yesterday it is fun with the people sitting around us, some even offered to share their food……what a Mothers day treat i had!!

    I m hopeless in writing post or inserting pictures into the site….i email u a few shots if u like, once again thank you for the opportunity…….
