    My daughter who is unemployed is looking for job, she is a diploma holder, currently working partime in the evening, can she apply or it is strictly for silver hairs members only.

  4. Karen-W, I will have a crack on yr query.

    Speaking for myself and certainly not articulating the SHC position (which might, who knows, be in congrueence with mine) is that, given a choice, preference shd be given to SHCians.

    However, since this is not a position offered by a fellow SHCian nor a position made available by SHC itself, children (even friends) of SHCians shd be allowed to apply since it’s in our philosophy to help and, as an extrapolation, also extend help.

    Anyhow, since Sylvia has posted her email address, SHCians can write to her directly and ultimately in a situation like this involving a 3rd party employer, her decision is final.
