I met up with a few SHCians last night; and a question popped up as to when this year’s annual dinner and dance will be held, and where? So far, no indications yet, as we have not had a DO. Well, please hold on, and once someone puts his/her hand up, we can have this event. Maybe, soon.
So, if you are eager to organise one, have a go. We dont expect the perfect D&D; as some disorganisation is good for our soul. Anyone?

An update on our 2010 Dinner and Dance. Seems like we may have found our EOs for this event. Subject to venue and price, an a possible meeting over the next two weeks, the EOs will announce themselve.
I assume I am the incumbent club manager. Haha. And, as such, ususally, the club manager will leave the organisation of the D&D to the EO. In other words, I wont interfere in their decisions on the program, the type of activities and program. However, I do ask to have a small say in the venue and the price per pax. So, we can have a number of surprises on the actual day or night.
To those who have been working in the background, thank you for the hardwork and the planning to make this event come true.

For D&D 2010, we have some one to put this hand up. None other than Sam Goh. He has been working hard in the background searching for suitable venues and has just started scouting for a committee.
Sam or Ah Huat is seriously cracking his head; he doesn’t know yet there are many hurdles and obstacles ahead. But I am confident he will be able to lead us through. He shall do all the announcements. We may be in for a surprise, as usual with his Huat Huat style.
