  1. Good morning……

Lai Fong, Dolly & Sam huat….we gonna have FUN again….

There are some alcoholic drinks and cans of beer in my office Refrigerator, from the last Karaoke gathering….I will bring them to the party. Except for the tonic GIN, I will also bring a bottle of Red Wine. Wonder if the Bartender, Ivan, is free to mix the drinks for us that evening………hehehe…… :)

  2. Hi Ronald Lam @ 4,

Mooncakes I love those with big and plenty of nuts.

For $3, you will be lucky if they put inside the mooncake some quah chee seeds instead of nuts.

  3. Hi Ah Nee,

I am coming to this romantic mid-autumn festival celebration. I hope the moon is big, and we are able to pass around these little moon cakes with messages inside.

Well done for consistently having this jam at Kovan.

  15. Just want to borrow Ah Nee’s thread.

Like the new Mid-autumn banner; the different colored lotus flowers are so pretty yet very serene……..and peaceful, too.

Wishing all a happy mid-autumn festival and enjoy yourselves at this party.

  16. Hi Ah Nee, and participants,

Very nice of you to bring back this mid-autumn festival back to all of us. Guess that in today’s world, we only see durian and mango mooncakes. I am sure that for many of us, the mid-autumn festival is truly romantic, for lovers, for families and for kids. Hope we have not forgotten our younger children with the lanterns, candles and sticks. Next year?

And Geraldine, though you are no so far away in Hong Kong, we share this beautiful festival with you. Be good.

    Terence Seah

  17. Hi Terence

Thanks for sharing this romantic festival.

Weather over here is atrocious. It’s Typhoon 3 now and the forecast for the next few days is heavy rain, squalls and thunderstorm. Hopefully, it will not go up to T8 or worse. So far, the howling has not started; maybe tonight.

Will have a stormy mid-autumn this year.

Yes, I will be good – as always. Kekekekeee.

  18. Swee swee Geraldine…..thank you for your Greetings & Wishes, how I wish you can join us party….perhaps we’ll see you again next autumn….hahaha

Clara Chay….will see you this friday. :)

  28. Hi Ah Nee,

The mid autumn festival and dance event was defintely an event for SilverHairs. Some day, I wish I could dance just like Thomas and Francis.

I had a few observations which I like to pen here so that I can remember them, even though my memory may fade. Steven Chan was a real John Travolta. I remembered there was an article in the papers recently about what women see in men when they danced. Large upper body moments with wide twist and turns. That’s Steven Chan.

And Francis and Catherine, you were really good. After seeing your performance, and great show, I was so tempted to organise a dancing competition. Don’t forget I had a private request to both of you.

And, Ah Nee, you really looked pretty in that black shining dress. The cycling must have put you in great shape. Ladies and Guys, go for it, join the cycling events. Look at all the cyclists, the results are better than the best slimming salons in town.

If there is any men in town whom you can challenge to talk to a women, it has to be Thomas. I saw a really sexy lady, great hand movements, smooth turns with a gorgeous dress. I wanted to find out if she was a SHCian. Didn’t dare. So, I ask Thomas. Thank you for the link.

Maybe, we can take this event. Larger too. Michael was indeed a great supporter too. I just like the event.

    Terence Seah

  29. Hi Terence #51

Thanks for your nice compliments about our dance performance.

“I was so tempted to organise a dancing competition” If you organise, I will be volunteer to do any duty, you give me.

    Francis
