  1. Hi,

I will be coming. I will be coming with 2 more friends. One of them is a member and the other one is keen to join but she does not have a computer & email account yet. Hope it’s ok with you.

    Thank you
    Clara ho

  2. Hi Frisna

Apa kabar. Jika saya bisa ambil libur dihari tersebut, saya akan bertanding.

Tentang event keTanjung Pinang yang kemarin dibatalkan, mungkin dijung bulan April tahun depan, kita cuba beraturkan lagi.

    Trimakasi. Semoga bahagia.

    Abel Tan

  3. Hi Frisna #7,
You have the edit access. Please go ahead and edit your registration list.

It might be a good idea, if you kickstart the Holiday seasons best wishes and greetings with a new Post or on this Post.

    Terence Seah

  4. Dear All

although the restaurant said we can use their private room even if less than 20 persons, but i prefer to have the ” more the merrier atmosphere”. so if you’re deciding to join please sign up by 17th or else i might have to cancel this event.

PS: for those who have signed up pls stay tuned…

  5. Hello Tim, Dan, Francis, Tan K H:

Thanks for registration – seem like we’re almost there!

all of you will do gift exchange right? please please don’t wrap your gift yet. i’ll tell you what to do 2 days in advance.

  6. The responses may be coming in slowly but surely. Happy for you, Frisna. If this MG’ring does take off, guess what my contribution will be for the gift exchange?

Santa Claus is too old and offbeat. So I will find a little boy cross wearing his flip-flops and dress him up as Sandal Cross. Take him home and do what you like with him (he is precocious and very adulterated) but pls pls be very wary of his king kong steal heart talon (????????Get him to jump a few times and a few hearts – not dollipops – will drop from his pockets).

(Btw, can see that Sharon-T’s post is in yellow which means it’s still under moderation and that means her SHC registration as a SHCian is probably unrecorded yet………do pls contact Admin to regularise it)

  7. Hello EO Frisna,
Yes, as per TIM-L#22, WE will “be coming in slowly but surely”!
Hey! hey! dun tink seng-naik naik naik.
    Ya, please register me lah!
Now, have two X’mas gifts (and counting..) to prepare liao!
    Ivan

  8. Ivan-L, nice to have you with us.

Now, we have one missing person. Without her, it’s gonna be a Freeze-na. She isnt seen for almost 2 days and Wilkileaks have nothing to leak this time.

She isnt found in Orchard Rd or any of the Xmas happening places. We have left out Lim Chu Kang so far and will do a search there but we need people to do the pre-search chants for an obvious reason. You know all the university chancellors. They are the best for the job. Pls get them to go to LCK 5 mins b4 midnite 2nite.

  9. Hi Frisna,
Cheers to you :). you hv attained ur targeted headcount for this event.. Congrats…..

I will put this event in the SHC calendar by tommorow cos not able to access rite now.. Cheers.. Dolly

  10. Haha, Dolly-L, when I teased with “dollipops” in a previous posting, out and up you popped…….so cute and so nice of you.

But the key person remains unseen.

Last nite’s chanting flopped miserably. Ivan-L cdnt get any Chancellor to LCK so he chanted as a soloist which didnt get the desired effect. His chants sounded so friendly that mosquitoes thought it was a feast invite and swarms came to him. He shd look quite pale today. Good chap.

Seriously, hope to know early whether this MG’ring is on or off. If off, will rush to make some last minute holiday planning for kid, before she is taken away by the mother for their usual year-end sojourn…….

  11. ho ho ho i’m so glad that it’s on!!
and thanks to the kind person who put up all the names. will write more instruction t’row when i have more time

  12. Hi Frisna,

Congrats! This party is ON !

I should be able to come. And I will definitely take part in the gift exchange & whatever games you have. Can we play some charades too? Yat Sing, are u keen on this?

    Cheers, Lydia.

  13. Hi Frisna

Hope I’m not too late cos I’m coming too but won’t be able to be there at 6pm cos my office knock off at 6pm. Hopefully could reach by 7pm.

Please register my name and Angela Straaten, we will be participating in the gift exchange too.

Thanks for organising this gathering. See you and the rest next week.

    Cheers!
    Hamidah

  14. Credit to you Frisna-T for your perseverance.

Glad to see so many names now…….old friends young at heart. Not least, that both newbies Sharon-T and Steven-H have managed to regularise their memberships and are registered.

Games? Get KK Loh to come and he will play badminton. How, within the confines of a dining room, i dunno but dont bet against that talented and resourceful Loh who. muttering only words Santa understands, can turn an inch into a mile so, roundtable badminton is not unthinkable…………

  15. Ooops, it appears that Angela-S is inadvertently left out (pls see ref #32). I cant vouch for her membership in the workers’ party but she’s definitely a SHCian.

  16. Dear All on the registration list, pls do the following for me/the gathering:

    a. bring a gift of $5 (or more if you like)
    b. put a note inside the gift (e.g. sing a song, do a dance, tell a xxx joke or anything for the recepient of your gift to act)
    c. wrap you own gift and stick/write a number according to your name on the list (e.g. frisna is no.1, sk is no.2 etc)
    d. come on time if possible, bit late is ok (e.g. hamidah)
    e. but DO COME, PLS NO LAST MIN WITHDRAWAL (Last min registration ok)
    f. see all of you there!!! (if i hv no time to reply here pls understand. am v v busy now)

    MERRY X’MAS!

  17. Frisna, good to read that the MG’ring is confirmed.

I am on 12 which coincidentally was the jersey number I chose to wear during my soccer playing days. Soccer greats dont wear this number.

My gift will be exactly what its taker wants it to be (within the $ range), whoever the taker is, but no telling now how that can and will be achieved. It’s of a value clear to see, not a dime more or less. The note spelling out the task will be easy to do.

    2011 ????????????????????????????????????????

    ?????????“Dont Quit”. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

    ??????????

  18. Hi Frisna

My buddy Catherine Yeo just returned from her 3 trips and learnt the event, She don’t want to miss such a meaningful event and want to enjoy the pleasure with all the SHC friends participated. Please register her for the monthly meeting. Thanks and sorry very much for the very very late registration.

Hi buddy Cat Yeo, welcome to become a Singaporean again.

  19. Oh Dear! Why am I so special in yellow???? Oh not…please count me in, don’t left me out ok ):
Contact Admin (Register again) How! I need to call in or email in….kindly advise me.

    Wamest Regards Sharonn Tan

  20. Haha, in yellow means you’re a royalist, a democrat and can throw stones with impunity. Isnt that a privilege?

Jokes aside, can see that Sharon Tan, which I believe is your name, is on 18 and so you’re registered for a while already.

Frisna, as late comers are allowed, do please ensure that the room can take in all 30 and probably a few more. If there’s a maximum capacity, then it will do well that you close registration after this number is hit.

    See you all tomorrow.

  21. Morning Tim-L #44,
Just did a gender-count. WOW! We have a ratio of about 3gals-to-1guy ….. great rite! ….. “value-for-money” rite! What more can you for this X’mas? hahahahaha/XxexexeXe

  22. Hi Ivan & Tim

Good morning. Don’t be too happy hor having 3gals to 1guy cos you guys are the best Xmas gifts & value-for-money too we ladies have for 2moro’s nite game. We are going to pin up all the guys to the wall to be our “DARTBOARD” for our Ladies DART competition in groups of 3 ladies to 1 “DARTGUY”. You all may want to consider wearing Armour suit 2moro nite??? Waa…haa..haaa

    Cu all 2moro

  23. Aiyo…Hamidah #46,
Like tat i veri scared scared leh! Even full armour also cannot help us lah! Bcos cannot cover every “part” of the body so sure ….. Xexexexeee
And then hor! U gals all “aiming” at the same “part” veri su-sar liao….Kekekekeee

  24. Gd afternoon Ivan-L.

So what exactly do you hv in mind for 2mrw’s MG’ring? Expect to see Many G-strings? Frankly, even if there’re, we cant see and we wont dare ask to see. But if you do get one single approval, you cant charge me for a ticket to see.

    Selamat petang, Hamidah.

Ivan and I can stand as dartboards, no fear. But do you gals have the darts that are not worn as a belt? Dont think you people will hv the guts to wear dud darts.

Since we are high on darts, maybe my gift will be a duck. Or a drake since the probability of a gal getting the bird is high. So, sorry Sandal Cross, you’ll come with me next year.

Last, what is my dream gift?

A warm handshake as firm as only Zhou En Lai can give and a bear hug which Joseph Stalin used to kill his opponents.

  25. Hi Frisna

I am finally able to confirm my attendance. I would like to register to participate.

Will be there around 7pm cos I have my therapy session at 6.30pm.

    Many thanks.

    Cheers
    Carly

  26. Dear All,

Ref Frisna’s #37 about c. wrap your own gift and stick/write a number according to your name on the list (e.g. frisna is no.1, sk is no.2 etc)
    1. Plse wrap your gift BUT do not label the number nor write your name.
The excitement, charade, actions, noises..etc…will all be from the gift’s mystery giver and his/her message.
Its a lucky dip. You make your choice, unwrap it, read the attached mystery messages. And you put on the act.
We leave it to Santa to judge whether your mystery messages are naughty or nice.
We hope in the spirit of X’mas and SHCian fellowship, your requests are wholesome.

Late comers are welcome. Do bring along a gift to exchange.

    C U 21st Dec 2010, 6-9PM, Akashabu Japanese Restaurant #01-12 Funan Digital Life Mall.

    Warm Regards,
    S.K.

  27. Hi Yatsing,

Sure, I’ve prepared some charade lines, of different topics… movie titles, song titles, places in Singapore, the world, occupation, proverbs. This should keep the party going. I will need your help in getting the people organised into 2 teams for the charade games, ie. if there’s time, AND most important, the EO permits us to play!

We’re going hv lots of fun tonight, ya?

    Cheers, Lydia.

  28. Hi Frisna and SK,
#53,54..I assume the number from the above list will be as follows: 31)Bobby 32)Henry 33)Caroline 34)Rose White 35)Anna Seet 36)Ann Lim. Not sure whether Pte Room is big eunough to accommodate 36 people, anyway see u all soon. Cheers and Merry Christmas to all SHCians..

  30. A week ago, this event was on tenterhooks risking cancellation for lack of 20 participants. Am very happy and glad that we have many more respondents now.

Frankly, Jap food is not smthg I like best. Neither am I good at fathoming what the guy up there trying hard in tears and sweat to tell me what he is acting out in a charade. And if given the role to act, will be too rebellious to follow the paper’s dictate.

In short, I will go but if the room is too small to take in everyone, will step aside, esp after coming from what I expect to be a very acrimonious afternoon meeting which will drain much of me by evening.

Now, a digress and take the opportunity of this write to share some observations.

Lately, there hv been a bit of noises made on the naming of future MRT stations. Whoever is privileged to name pls do spare some thoughts on the naming.

Presently, we have stations which, to many foreign visiting friends, sound like “boot-kick-buttock”, “you-pee”, “car-dip”, “pisang”, “dog-be-god”……

Another. The human contour is so shaped to be small at the waist for a good reason. Yet many, it started with teenagers and then ah sors caught on, defying nature’s cut and gravity, hang their pants below this curved-in hold. I have actually seen pants falling, thus vindicating Newton for his law on the falling apple.

  31. ha ha i’m so happy suddenly see so many responses! yes, ALL can come. the pte rm can accomodate up to 40 pax but u can always sit in the common dining area! Lets rock Funan tonight. c u all!!!!

PS: Tim thanks for your support – u will be the centre of the party tonight right (being santa clause, telling jokes etc…)

  32. Hello Everyone,

I just called Akashabu(Funan DigitaLife Mall).

The restaurant has allocated a “Private” area/corner (hmmm – not room arrh) to SHC. This area can accommodate up to 40pax. So, it should not be a problem with 37) Sam Goh INCLUDED.

Anyway, they can “increase” the seating capacity to above 40pax by adding more tables or extending more space to the “Private” area/corner…..

So, people ….. see you all there!!!
    IL

  33. Dear YatSing & All,

Good news. I’ve obtained the OK from the EO to play charades. So now I need to form 2 teams of 5 players each side. It will be fun. The game will start when I’ve enough players. So pls register yourself at the “Charade Counter when you arrive”…. There will be “prizes” for the winning team and “cosolation” for the losing team.. the prize will be a surprise! It’s not chocolates, for sure. Something wholesome & healthy!

    Cheers, L.

  34. Dear Frisna/SK

Thanks for letting us come, with a warm welcome even though we register at the eleventh hour :)

    Dear Ivan

Thanks for checking out the place for us.

    Yay! See you all tonight.

    Cheers
    Carly

  35. Great !

Thanks Ivan-L for finding it out and Frisna for confirming it.

Sam, do come, forget abt yr winks. If we are both mad enough, we might want to do an impromtu skit together and then if there’s still live in us, will skid to orchard rd, falling below those who dare wear skirts in the week of Xmas. Upskirting is unlawful but looking up from a fall at the sky and what is above us, isnt.

  36. Dear Frisna and SK

Thanks very much for the lovely gathering. I enjoyed myself very much. So much laughter and fun. Laughed till my jaws ache.

Glad I signed up for this.

    Cheers
    Carly

  38. Hi Frisna

Well done, thanks for organising and I enjoyed myself laughing with all the gila2 spotting SHCians.

The only comment I wanna feedback is the food there quite expensive. The menu got no price stated except for drinks I think, I only see Code No. or may be I blurr2. I ordered 1 Agadashi Dofu, 1 Tempura & 1 fruit punch($4)they charged me $32.90. Normally I ate at other Jap restrn not that expensive. I paid exact amt & waitress did not give me the receipt, so not sure how much each dish cost. I also forgotten to ask for the receipt cos rushing to finish my dinner b4 event start. No heart feeling ok just a feedback. Not sure how much the others paid for their food. May be mine kena ketok lah they charge wrong menu ha..haa

    Sam #70
I did’nt see the actual happening, all I see Rose already on the floor so I thought Angela & Thomas who kena forfeit dancing langgar her & cause her to fall. On the way home I asked Rose, she said floor slippery she slipped. Think this
she morning woke up see her buttock Or Cheh already. Ya lah she lucky her color tv was switched off hee..hee

  39. To all participants,

    My dear friends,
I didn’t have time to read all the comments/long post before the party, therefore some of your requests were not carried out (e.g. hamidah’s dartboard, ivan armour suit, henry 3 to 1, tim warm handshakes) but i am glad the year end party turned out to be all right with lots of laughter.

my thanks to all of you who put up good show and fun notes in your gifts. my big THANK to SK and the ‘impromptu’ helpers – ann lim, anna seet, lydia soh. and my big hug to the King for taking all the photo (sorry ya if we made a bit of fun out of you, hope you don’t mind)

i know all the guys loved the rowdy games, but i hope the ladies esp ‘newbies’ don’t mind the Flower Flower words that come out of sam huat huat once in a while (he’s born naked you know, so a habit)

my apology to lydia chin for not having time to play her charade (next time ok) and i wonder what happened to the 2 missing guys francis & steven ho…

PS: some one dropped gifts for ‘auction’ but the receptionists forgot who you are. can you please identify yourself? (sorry for not doing the bidding. the goods are now in the safe hand of henry)

Riddle: who are they? (missed reading out their introductions last night)

    1. jovial, fun loving, care free, free spirited, child like simple, like cameras, video

    2. happily retired. join silverhair club in 2008. usually participate in the monthly walk. plays bowling.

    3. i am outgoing, friendly, love to sing, dance and play games and enjoy life to the fullest. now looking for companion!

    4. i love food

MERRY XMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

  40. Hi Hamidah: sorry ref the food price. i didn’t hv chance to check with any of you. but when i reserved the place, they gave me menu with prices (that’s why i could put up the price range in my original post)

Hello Rose (so your name is now rosna rauaee? is it a new ‘creation’?): thanks for playing all the roles required. glad u r ok from the fall (i had the same fate at the pyjama party)

Hello Carly: glad you enjoyed it! blame thomas, henry, andrew, sam if you’ve to do jaw surgery. thanks for serenading us with your sweet voice!

  41. Folks, you were all super sports !

Although some were by their dispositions shy, still they had no hesitation acting out the pantomimes.

The restaurant’s Management was just as sporting and assured that the noise level was acceptable, helped by the fact that we were roomed exclusively to ourselves at the end of the joint with space for comfortable sashaying.

The evening started with us ordering food. I had Yaki Meishu which was real yuckky in terms of taste (very salty) and portion (size of a cup used to make tarts). But no issue when the mood was pulsating and almost everybody was engaged.

We then carried on with an introduction of ourselves. Folks picked at random papers of description of others. There was a drug pusher, one whom I heard as having a dog as lover, a lady who enjoyed having food in her mouth while she travelled to dance (or was it danced to a travel?), a baboon who wanted to be Pat Boone, another who brought her maternity instincts along……..

During the pantomime, we saw Andrew-Y doing the cat-walk with a real Cat. Their eyes sparkled as brightly as if 2 naughty cats were looking out from dark bushes.

It was thoughtful of Sam-Huat to include in the pantomimes, a cheer and toast to SHC.

Perhaps, the highlight was what he had noted in an earlier post.

Thomas-L was blidfolded and put on a chair. He was promised kisses from only the gals. So happy was he that he kept hurrying “Quick lah, quick lah”.

When I planted my kiss on his lips, I almost went dead. He rolled out his tongue…….clearly his appetite was huge. Then, he almost went dead when he felt some moustache-shoots pricking his tongue and lips.

It must be the best MG’ring this year which brought a rousing befitting close to a mammoth 2010.

Last but the best must deservedly go to Frisna-T for choosing a fantastic place for this event, the doggedness to carry on when initially the response was lukewarm, and for putting up prizes I believe, out of her pockets (which probably went unnoticed).

    Thanks a lot, Frisna !

    ???????????????????????????? ??????????????????????????????????

    ????????????????????????????

    ?????????????

  42. First of all my wordless thanks to Frisna for organising this gathering with lots of creativity and activity.

The childish side of all of us did not stop us from expressing ourselves.I had a good laugh all the way home thinking of every scenario that tickles me.

I make a big “BANG” when i suppose to capture Thomas and Angela in an intimate skit but i end up got snug with the flooring. It happened gracefully and no Tv caption cos the light was switch off haahaa!!!May be i’m too sexcited like Carly said to see them(Thomas & Angela)on action.

This morning woke up everything is fine no bruises or whatsoever but still giggling to myself whenever i recall the whole episode heehee…

    Rose White

  43. Hi Frisna

Thank you very much for the hard work to make to make this gathering a success. There are so much laughter and all like little kidsssss, me too.Enjoy so much and luckily did not roll on the floor…hehehe

Would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone and even those who did not attend “A VERY VERY HAPPY AND EXICITING YEAR FOR 2011..12…13…14 ALL THE WAY”

Just like Sam used to shot “HUAT AH!!!!!”
Sorry SAM Kapo your slogan just for now hor…

    Cheers!
    Lai Fong

  44. ” Folks, you were all super sports !” to borrow the words from Tim. Thanks everyone esp. Frisna & SK, & I wholeheartedly agree that this must go on record as one of the best , if not the best Mly Gathering of 2010. Looking forward to more comraderie in 2011! cheers!

  45. Hi Frisna #73

It’s ok you don’t need to apologise not your fault and I’m not blaming you but for sure I’m very happy that we are given a cosy corner all to ourselves.

Haha Frisna, lucky you blow whistle otherwise very hard to ask these “budak budak tua” (overgrown kids)esp the males ones to keep quiet & listen to what you have to say. If you do organise next event in future, remember to bring “rotan” (cane) along ya?.

Wishing you and all SCHians Merry Xmas & Huat Huat New Year 2011.

  46. Dear Frisna
Thanks for your compliments and also thanks for your generosity in sponsoring the prizes for the games.

    Dear Rose
Glad to know you are fine and no “Or Che” on your butt.

It was so nice to let the kid in us come out once in a while, like last evening.

And I agree with Midah that it was a good thing Frisna had the good sense of bringing along a whistle otherwise….he! he! he!, not only my jaws ache, it will kena locked with all the seowing.

    Cheers
    Carly

  47. Hi Hamidah, your C#71. Actually the menu have prices on it. May be you missed them.

The food taste OK, but as Hamidah mentioned, the prices are a little bit expensive, so when I home, I have to take another instant noodle.

I found it is quite worth for me, as I got a kiss and a hug from a beautiful lady. Usually, I am quite stupid to identify new friends and remember their names. But lady, next time when we met, I sure can call out your name (can you give me another hug for that), otherwise, knock my head.

Hi Frisna, thanks you very much for the hard work to make this gathering a success. There are so much laughter and all like little kidsssss, me too. Enjoy so much (copy from Lai Fong C#76, so lazy)

  48. Hi Andrew #80

Oh got price stated, then I must be blurr2 how come miss the price. Anyway Angela gave me the restn phone no. and I checked on price. They charged correctly $32.95, it’s the tempura price that is choking me $18 aiyo.yo.. and the Agadashi Dofu cost $6 which is quite normal.

Anyway it’s ok lah once in a while kena cut throat ha..ha but most importantly we enjoyed the gathering.

  49. Dear Frisna,

Though a tad late but nevertheless better late than never! Thanks for a job well done, Frisna and helper S K Chua!
An enjoyable evening indeed with the ice-breaking games and making sure most participated. I noticed that Frisna did not even have time to eat.

I was lucky to not get anything to perform in my present but my buddy AndrewY made me do the catwalk with him…..so Andrew, you owe me one haha!

It was nice to meet up with a few older members again and I take this opportunity to wish every one here a very merry yuletide season and a happy new year!

  50. Dear Frisna, & All.

YES !!! I fully agree that this was a very good monthly meeting.. done with lots of fun, laughter & creativity. Thanks to the creativity, hardwork & generosity of the EO.

Everyone thouroughly enjoyed. My food was fantastic.. 4 of us shared the Jap style steamboat.. beef, pork, large prawns, vege, etc.. really yummy.. inspite of not being very hungry, i still ate alot! It was almost like free flow! And it only cost $15 per share each, with Bobby so kindly absorbing the 80 cents difference!

To top up the ecstasy, I received a wonderful exchange gift. It was $15 cash in a CANON christmas angpow. The giver was extremely generous. ‘Cos our EO only specified a gift of $5, and the amount I received was $15. Just nice to pay for the dinner!

It was my lucky night.. but I’ve yet to find out who that mysterious giver is…? And my forfeit was fun too.. i had to find the person who best resembles the face on the money!! And to tell him lovingly…… (censored here la)!

Just too bad that we do not hv enough time to play the charades… perhaps the next meeting? And yes, one of the missed riddles is mine!

Let’s look forward to more of such gatherings in 2011.

    Cheers for 2011!

  51. “….my forfeit was fun too.. i had to find the person who best resembles the face on the money!! And to tell him lovingly…… (censored here la)!”

Lydia-C, what’s there to censor? Let me continue it for you.

“And to tell him lovingly : “I hv been secretly adoring you, now you cant escape”. You will then climb and sit on his laps, have a good feel first before bouncing till he mari kita or he scream, “mati saya”.

    Right?

  52. Dear Frisna & helpers,

Thanks for organising the very enjoyable gathering. I was apprehensive about having to play games or “do forfeit” and I was happy that my mysterious giver didn’t give me anything to do. But you wouldn’t let me off and I ended up dancing with Thomas! Luckily for me, Rose White fell on her butt and the dance ended abruptly with all of us doubling up with laughter!

I would also like to thank Andrew for giving me the lovely Christmas decoration for my house, and Tim for gallantly helping to clear the mess on all the tables.

Here’s wishing one and all “Merry Christmas and all the best for 2011!”

  53. Ha ha you people are all sooooo funny. not that i laughed a lot that night but by reading your above posts also make me laugh. I’m really glad that i didn’t cancel the gathering on 13th dec!!

Tim # since it’s time of giving, i feel happy to buy the gifts from my own pocket (they dont cost that much anyway).

Cath: indeed i didn’t hv time to eat but that’s why i’m slim right? ha ha

Hamidah: am glad the ketok2 thing is cleared. surely will bring a big cane next time if the same boys registered again. you help me to whack their pantat ya

Rose: i think you brought all the inner child of us esp the men (they wanted to feel like baby without clothing again???)

Andrew: too bad your gift was not drawn by a guy, otherwise this EO will get the smuch instead of you!

Thomas L: (where are you?) hope you like the BIG special toy i gave you. forgot to ask you doing the forfeit though

Angela: am glad you came out of your ‘shyness’, hopefully next gathering u already master the dance steps

Lydia: you’re really lucky. will the “Cash king” identify himself here pls

Tim & Henry: BEST MG’ring of the year? no lah, Terence will not be happy loh (if he were there as promised, i think he will be good to act as the POLE for pole dancing. agree?)

  54. Riddle: who am I?

    1. Had enough of being a “man” so i turned into a woman (i think i know who this is)

    2. My twin is in charge of walking group (i now know who this one is too. do you?)

  55. “……Tim…clear the mess on all the tables”.

Well, Angela, since the junk bond bomb-out, I am now into the booming paper recycling biz, and there’s big $ to make as a garang guni man.

Seriously, I think the place is spacious (there were 42 chairs altogether) and, away from prying eyes, is suitable for more gatherings in the future. So, it’s good if the Management knows that while we can be a bit noisy, we werent untidy.

Frisna, if Terence had attended and let his pole out for the pole dance, it will keep elongating so make the dance difficult and will push the north and south poles so far apart that the 2 continents’ polar bears wont ever get to meet again.

  56. Hi Buddy Cat, your C#82.

Sorry forgot to thank you for the Cat walk with me, may be I still very exciting on the kiss and hug, haha. Although I owe you one, take your hand and walk with you is always my wish. So you can take my hand and walk with me as many times as you want, anytime, anywhere, no limit, I willing! I willing! I do!

    Hi Frisna

I am luckier than you, the one who got my present is a not guy, but a lady. I think you have a little bit disappointed, right? haha. Thanks again for you effort.

  57. Hi Lydia Soh
Thank you for your appreciative note. I am very happy to be able to contribute a little bit towards the event, and taking some record shots is all I can do.
I would like participating members give me more critical comments so that I can do better the next time round.

  58. King, no cticism means good but obviously, you cant sleep without seeing one so i shall oblige you.

Do smthg different from what photographers do. We have seen enough of fronts and faces. Start a New year well. Go take pic of people’s backs and backsides, in all movements and styles. Be surprised at how people are prepared to pose when you dont see their faces. And guessing who they are adds thrill and a bit more fun.

Got this “12 days Of Xmas” sung by a quite famous Indian gg\roup from a butty at :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owK5tHjL0aE.

It’s for you, Sam and those who like the song sung differently. Do email me at tnotswit@hotmail.com if you cant open it.

    Enoy !

  59. Tim has a point, i seek permission from this chap who is standing in front of us for a picture of his back. The Black T’shirt he is wearing has print which reads……..

” If be in Misery we can pain whatever picture we like,
the colour is in our mind’s eye ”

I wish 2011 is a very Happy Year for all of you…….

    cheers
    freda

  60. “Tim has a point”.

No Freda-L, Tim doesnt….and it wd be very worrying if he has. Let him explain it.

A point is where you look at and focus on, as an arrow is focussed on a point. The point receives, takes a shot.

It will be terrible if Tim has a point, and it will also be for most straight men.

Conversely, women do always hv a point. Dont argue on that and dont argue with them. To the doubting Thomases (Thomas Loh, dont look away), go look for it.

    Happy New Year !

  61. Hi King

a big THANK YOU for your help in taking the pics. dont worry about Tim’s backside comments, just take more close up shots of the nice ladies esp the EO!!

A VERY WONDERFUL NEW START/YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!!!

  62. Eh Frisna-T, you not very the ok huh? What King wants is criticism, like Mohd Ali the dancing butterfly’s knock-out punch. You sayang him for what ?

Granted the EO was nice but nicer if he took shots from behind. Dont worry, he will do just that for you the next time.

    Heheee…………

  63. Hi Tim
After, your critical comments in #92, I could sleep soundly. I will take more pictures from the back and of the backside in future. Not sure it will pass the quality control.
Hi Frisna, I will also take your adviseto take more close ups, especially the EOs.
Regards and Happy New Year to everyone.

  64. Taking both Frisna-T and Tim’s critique at heart, King will now take close-up fotos of people’s backsides.

Long Live The KING (nvm a bit kinky & humsup) !

For that, His Majesty has declared tomorrow an universal public holiday.

So, go take fotos 2mrw the King way…………

  65. Hi Frisna, King Seng,

Well done, we have some very nice portraits taken during the Dec Monthly gathering. Definitely the ladies are pretty and the guy, oops Tim, looks handsome.

    Terence Seah

  66. Well, Terence, I hv no dubt you make a good con artist so if you say Tim is handsome many will believe, and if it’s ooops handsome, all will believe you.

Btw, the banner is very balanced in that you satisfies the wants of everyone. The sweetness of the 3 pretties will make you want more honey (so much so that you wont hesitate to pluck the whole hive). That 1 oddball will make you want to close yr eyelids and sleep (so much so that Terence wont hesitate to dive into and lie in the long box – pak si also wont come out).

  67. Here’s how I usually pick photos for the above banner picture. First, if the photographer takes a picture that will fit the longside of the space allocated, there is a high chance the picture would be selected. However, if one tall body stands up higher than the rest, selection becomes difficult.

Smiles are very important. It’s nice to have big wide smiles. The more natural, the better. Many SHCians have nice smiles, but sometimes, they face a different direction, and so the picture cannot be used. Photographers, please take note.

Eyes are the key to a person’s personality. Dont have to be big; but it is important to look straight into the camera’s lens. Don’t look at the ceiling or the bottle on the table. So, even if your left looks better on camera, always look straight into the lens the next time.

    Have fun.

    Terence Seah

  68. Hi Terence:

wow, you made me feel (and look) like TNP contestant. thank you!
indeed the ladies are pretty esp the 2nd one from the left. she’s the “had enough of being a man so turned into a woman” – you’ve pretty eyes, yatsing. and SK looks so lady like that night wearing dress. as for the lady in the middle? her 1000 watt smile will electricute any man. as for the only man in the poster? Tim, you are not handsome but beeeauuutiful….

  69. Ooops, I had zoomed my page to 150% and missed seeing one face until my kid reduced the page size. All very pretty she said but the corner one is the best.

That unlookable guy up there with his mouth tilted slightly to the left looks so hum hum sup sup, she observed.

“Is that you, dad?” she couldnt believe her eyes. Told her that uncle King’s camera didnt lie. Now she is considering disowning her father.

    Sigh……………

    Haha………
