Hi pauline, i do have your email address i think. will follow through with other details

  3. Hi Fetzus,

oh dear, noted that the dates for the trip is different from our earlier discussion and that Shangri-La is excluded OR will this be included in the extended stay. Perhaps we can take this off-line :D

    Thanks,
    ChristinaCL Chan

  4. Hi Moon, after Kunming, Dali and Lijiang, you can extend your stay to go further to other destinations like shangrila or deqin or down south to tengchong to see extinct volcano mountain, gingko trees blossoming, hotspring or to xixuangbanna etc.,

It is not possible to do additional destinations in 7 days, for those who rather not do dali or lijiang, you can join in few days later. again folks, October is the best month to go. don’t miss october. this is the season for mushrooms hotpot or steamboat

  5. Hi Feztus,

Can you pls. let me know how much will the approximate expenditure including air tickets, itinerary and accommodation will be for the 8 days ?

  6. Feztus,
    I’m keen to join 8D Yunnan Trip (25 Oct – 1 Nov).

Cld you furnish me with the trip itinerary, total cost of expenditure eg. cost of airfare per pax, carrier, Flight details, taxes, name of hotel accomodation (3*/4*), tipping for driver/guide, misc…

For additional day of extension, how much do each pax has to pay for accomdation, etc..?

Hear from you soon so that we can finalised our decision.

  7. hi steven, pearlyn and eileen
the route will be from kunming to dali then to lijiang and back to kunming for 8 days
those extending will go on to shangrila and then back to kunming. Probable destinations are listed above. some day tours are optional.

I have email the estimated cost to you already on twin sharing basis. if you wish to stay by yourself, or don’t like your room partner, you will need to pay for single room. you can bring your husband or ‘wife’.

Hotel are clean tourist class hotel or service apartment or boutique guesthouse, with wifi or internet connection in very good location.

  8. Would appreciate a single passage as my hubby does not really like to travel but prefer more to driving up to Malaysia. Please provide the breakdown of cost for Hasimah.

Love to try out the Muslim food there.

    Thanks

  9. Hi hasimah, in kunming we will be staying just next one of the biggest shopping mall owned by muslims from middle east and china, at least 2 mosques around there within 5 minutes walking distance.

Many chinese muslim restaurants nearby. I think even there is even one centre for muslim education or training centre nearby.
Also many xinjiang “satay” peddlers along the roadside at night

Anyway, already emailed you the details

  10. This is great Mega, glad you can go. Jenny in Kunming will be happy to see you.
Extension to shangrila is good idea. There are a few who will extend to shangrila. As janie leong noted there are 3 public holidays and 2 weekends if you extend till the 6 Nov.
Those of you who are definite, please book your ticket early or claim your mileage ticket quick, or if you need me to get it for you, let me know. please confirm your going asap.

  11. Hi Fetzus

I will consider joining you for a few days stay in Kunmin and then proceed to Sesanpannah, the southern region of Yunan for a relaxing stay (a few days). Would this arrangement upset your planning? Anyone wishing to come with me please contact me at chiangcp@hotmail.com.

    Cheng Pun

  12. hi chengpun, you are welcome to join us for the first few days in kunming, when we leave for dali, you can go down to xixuangbanna, jinghong. no problem.

very unlikely we will give up the good weather to go to hot weather in banna and also the direction is different. those extending prefer to go up to shangrila. banna’s weather too hot for relaxing

  13. hi feztus…there are 2 public holidays during that period but bcos hari raya haji(6 nov) falls on a sunday; it will be a holiday on monday which is good for working people.

    janie

  14. hi everybody, glad to hear from you who have inquired and expressed intention to join the trip; or otherwise known as “responded”, if you are ready to confirm your going, I am too.
If there are few more of you who wanted to go but have yet to indicate, please write and let me know asap.

Looks like we have at least 8 possible travelers, so i am going to email you the details for atm transfer and start the confirmation and reservation of airtickets. I also need to look into details of your health and flight insurance.

Please think about return date if you are planning to extend to other destinations in yunnan with us. If you are not extending it is fine too, we will send you back safely.

  15. Hi Lorraine,

3 names have been deleted, as we have no records of their membership. Please contact the organiser directly.

  16. Dear Feztus #19,

Am unable to confirm nor could positively say “Yes” at this moment. As indicated in #5, dates were changed, month-end rather challenging due to work. :(

At best, I wish to indicate though that should I be able to make it for these dates, I will extend to Shangri-La as this is still my intent. Please include me in the loop of new developments, Offline. :D

I hope I will know better by 31Aug; if this is alright with you.

    Appreciate your understanding.

    Thanks!
