June Tan – Introduction

I was introduced to SilverhairsClub by my sister-in-law, Hamidah Ishak and my spouse, Danny Lye about a month ago. I have 2 sons and 3 dogs.  I have already attended JB Durian Trip in June and Railway Track Ramble in July and is looking forward to more activities in the future.

I am still working.  I love life itself and want to spend my time meaningfully.

I love to attend events on IT, travel, food, dog shows, church and charity activities.

My spare time is spend on my computer engaging and connecting with people surfing the internet as I do not like to gossip over the phone.

As I move on to my later years I still want to learn more new things, meet more new friends and gettting more exposures to life.

  1. Hi June

Welcome to SHC and an exciting world of friendship, fun and activities. Hope you find what you are looking for, here in SHC. You are very fortunate to have a sister-in-law in Midah. Very sweet and caring person.

Midah Sayang, I cakap betul ok.

    Cheers

Betul kah you apa you cakap abt me? Alamak I takut you praise me nanti I kena jadi committee or contribute dance performance lagi hee…jangan marah ya, joking saja. Anyway thanks for your compliments.

Fyi, June tak suka joget2…suka makan2 & shopping only. Kalau you ada makan2 tell her..sure jadi. Betul tak June apa I cakap?

    Cheers
    Hamidah

  3. Eh! Eh! Jangan cakap begini Sayang. Bukan mau you jadi committee atau joget2 lagi.

True lah, cos you always jaga your dancers sama buddies. Always make sure everyone well taken care of.

OK kalau makan2 and shopping (sama interest lah), I will sound the horn for June.

  5. Hi June

We are quite similar in our interests, dislike & outlook in life.

As mentioned to Danny, pls come to the future Walks so that we can expound, in partiular, our interests.

  6. Yes, Danny and I would love walking together with you but if it falls on a weekday I have to apply vacation leave.

Danny is also in the photography shooting today at Chinatown.

The next Walk, Potong Pasir/Bishan Park 2, will be on Sat, 13 Aug 2011 at 4.15pm. Hope to see you both.

  8. Hello June! Welcome to SHC!

When I read that part of your intro about your not liking to talk on the phone, I am glad I am not the only woman who has this dislike. I rarely have a conversation with anyone on the phone except in emergencies. 99.9% of the time, I communicate with family members, relatives and friends by either smses, emails or face-t0-face meetups. :) I once was embroiled in a longgggg conversation with my mother over the phone and as my house phone is obselete, my ear had a ‘burning’ sensation after some 15 mins. I had to cut off the conversation much to the annoyance of my mum. :p

Hope to meet you in person in the near future!

    Cheers
    Ros
