Hi All,
The company I am working for right now, is working for installer for Telco providers on a case to case basis.  No prior experience is needed as basic training will be provided.  However, it will be good if you have some knowledge of installation of telco equipment, no worry, all these equipment are not bulky types.

Additional info : Job is for installing of cables, cable modems and ONT.  Must have possess some basic computer knowledge and laptop (needed for configuration at customer’s site)

However, you must possess your own transport.

These vacancies are open to everyone, eventhough you are 50+.  So long you are willing to try to learn, our Senior installers are willing to teach.

If anyone here is interested and will like to know more all about this job nature, please feel free to contact me at dlgummy@hotmail.com and I will make arrangement for you to meet up with my superior.

Hope to hear from you soon… Cheers… Dolly

  1. Hi Dolly,

Your post is indeed of value to some members. However, please join as a Corporate member, as you are representing your company.

  2. Hi Terence,
I had replied you via email and you personally last nite on the reasons why I am unable to join as a Corporate Member now and glad that you are able to accommodate my request.

Hi All Members, I had edited the post so that you will have more understanding for this job function.

Some had write to me over age concerns, no worry, we have installers here which the oldest 1 is already 62 and still working here.

As far as this company is concerned, they are more keen to employ locals rather than foreigners.

    Cheers… Dolly

  3. Hi Dolly,

Please be assured I would always support SHC members who has job opportunities (part time or full time) to other members. In my mind, I would like to see Corporate members, offering work opportunities to fellow members. As part of club rules, we do not support MLM activities.

Unfortunately, stubborn as I am, I do not support external entities or persons who are not SilverHairsClub members. I therefore look forward to you being a Corporate member when the time is appropriate.

I believe many SHC members, especially those with IT or computer knowledge, would suit this work well. All the best.

  5. Hi Terence

Not exactly on the right site but can’t think of any closer.

Noticed Silverhairs Enterprise has a logo now. Don’t recall having read what it symbolizes or have I missed it? Care to share? Am just curious.

  6. Hi Terence (#3)

Thank you for supporting members who have job opportunities for SHC members.

The company which I just joined in Jan 2012 may have part-time / adhoc or piece jobs for retirees, semi-retirees and homemakers in the very near future. Training will be provided.

Can a brand new member join as a Corporate member?
If no, how long must a member be with SHC before he/she could join as a Corporate member?

I’m an old inactive member for many years but ‘joined’ SHC’s first activity in Nov 2011.

    Thank you
