Hi all.. the group of badminton players at Bukit Gombak stadium on Fridays would like to keep it a almost permanent fixture – that is, Friday 10.00am to 11.00 am.
We will continue to book on Fridays, same time and welcomes anyone interested to join. When the group stabilizes, i may not post on the site but will contact each other via SMS should there be any changes (such as going on holidays, courts not available etc).

Today is a working day for most Singaporeans. Although I just came back from somewhere in the world, I thought I would make a trip down this morning to Bukit Gombak Stadium, to say hello and meet up with the West badminton players.
Well I was pleasantly surprised to seed a small group of badminton players, lead by Inez. It was the end of the game, and everybody was sweating but I can sense they all felt good and had enjoyed the game. Thanks Inez for leading this initiative.

thank you for your encouraging words. Badminton is a social game. Credits should also be given to Amy who takes the trouble to come early to book for the following week, Primrose who contributes shuttlecocks, John who brought drinks, husband and wife team of Johnny and Annie who is always so sporty and bringing jokes and ideas (like going to FarmMart for cooling down) and Feztus who doesn’t mind playing with a very amateur group. It takes everyone to make the game enjoyable and have a good time.
