Meet Place : Stadium MRT(CC5),Exit A (@Sports Hub, under construction).

End of Walk: SG Flyer.
Nearest MRT: Esplanade (CC3).
Bus services: 56, 75, 77, 97, 171, 195. 960 & 961.

Let the stress fade away as we transverse the Gardens by the Bay,
Marina Barrage & SG Flyer.

This is PART 2, a continuation of the walk on 10Dec2011 ….   emoticon

In this walk you will experience –         emoticon
1)  a serene place unlike any other..
2)  a vision some 20 years ago, an edutainment centre
3)  a mammoth green space that takes 5 years…..
4)  get upclose to the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel
5)  let your eyes consume the awesome views of our Singapore skyline;
    beautiful, inwards & outwards          

Let’s continue to watch the glittering night lights at the fringe of
the Singapore Flyer.  There are several dining places here to quench
our thirst and satiate our hunger.

    Pls. register me for this down town walk. I will be late as I had to attend Feztus briefing on our 10 days tour to Yunnan, Dali and Li Jiang.
    I will sms you during your walk to catch up with you as I am now v. familiar with the Downtown walk from our Big Walk experience from Clark Quay to Marina Barrage ( 5 Km only )

    A few of us went to take part in the New paper BIG WALK for fun yesterday.

    Next year I will intend to put up my post to invite those who would like to register as a SHC group organisation to participate in this walk .

    It was really FUN to be immersed with a crowd of 20 000 pax unlike what you see on TV. :)

    I am surprised to read what you have written because if I recalled right, I can count with 1 hand the number of times you have joined us. I assume what you have written is sincere & yes, I agree with you that my sense of direction has been good thus far and pray that this will be with me till old age hahahaa

    However, I wish to draw your attention that ALL members in our Walk Team are equally dedicated & passionate in the walks that we planned TOGETHER.

    It is with this passion that our voluntary spirit thrives but SUPPORT FROM SHC MEMBERS esp at the end of the walk, though tired, yet we see SMILEY, HAPPY faces give us new strength to carry on!

    Personally, I prefer a face2face thank you, suffice.

    Hi Chris Chan,

    Please don’t fault the sincerity of my statement as I am not a veteran of over a decade inside SHC. In fact, you can count me as a “newbie” in SHC as my membership in there has not been very long. All that I can say from the bottom of my heart is that I have not missed out any walk led by you and your assistants since joining SHC. And, this is not fictitious, a made up story of sorts.

    You may check with Veronica Wong who is an ex-colleague of a lady member of my church on how long I have been with SHC.
    On my FIRST WALK I waited at Queenstown & walked with the group all the way to the former Great World Amusement Park.
    Between my first walk then and now, the total number of walks clocked in by me definitely has not amounted to ten times. I, for one, dislike falsehood and will never be party to it. Get it?

    Thank you for organising the 3 in 1 walk yesterday. It was enjoyable and the scenery was beautiful. There was also good camaraderie among friends present.

    The only snag was I couldn’t continue till the end of the programme cos I’ve another event on that night.

    Nonetheless a BIG THANK YOU to all of you.

    Looking forward to the next walk ~

    Although this is your 1st.walk as a SHC member, it was good to see you mixing around with other members such as Gerry , Thomas ( the next tallest in SHC ) June , Grace etc..

    And hope you continue to join more events besides walking and introducing your other friends to be SHC members.
