Hi Lydia
You invited only ‘guys’. What about gals? I love cruises.
Which vessel are you cruising with?
Regards
may woo
HI May…
sorry for late reply. Was unable to log in, until now.
Yes, of course GALS are most welcomed to join this cruise. I’m booking the Superstar virgo. I’ve been on Legends of the Sea, but I heard Virgo is much bigger & better.
If you keen, pls do book asap, as the special NATAS offer price is valid till 28th Feb only. And I think the lower priced cabins are selling off fast!
Pls email me, if you are keen.
Cheers, Lydia.
Hi Lydia,
My cruise to Phuket was last year on the Legend of the Seas.
Pretty good I can say. We had fine dinning on board and it was indeed a good gathering for close friends.
However, when you are in Phuket, do careful of the taxi/transport because I had a bad experience.
I just returned from a Penang cruise yesterday (also on the Legends of the Seas). This time I was smart and planned for a cab in advance. The cabby was honest and I had a good time in Penang after an absence of 20 years.
Cheers,
Elen Yong
Hi guys & all interested in Phuket
Yes, transport costs in Phuket are sky-high… and the Phuket taxi mafia control most taxi operations
!
For those going by cruise ship, I suggest staying within the Patong Beach area where the ship will dock. There is no need to venture further as there is the huge JungCeylon shopping complex, the market and stalls just behind, and the infamous Bangla Rd go-go strip to keep you occupied.
If you must go somewhere else make sure you secure your transport, confirming the costs with the help of a local Thai. In Phuket, the tuk-tuk drivers are more honest than the taxis.
Hi, Kenneth,#4
If you are my cabin mate. I will join immediately.
Thanks

Kenneth & Elen.. Thanks for all the tips.. well, with only 7 hours stop-over in Phuket, time is very limited.. and i reckon can only fit in a massage, a quick dinner, and maybe some quick shopping.. any recommended places, that is nearby the port?
Thanks. Lydia.
Hi Lydia and Johnny, I have already emailed you the driver’s contact for Penang. Kindly check email. Many thanks.
