Dear fellow SilverHairsClub members,
The lunar New Year festival has just passed. It’s always full of memories. To some of us, it’s a quiet time of the year. The Snake year is a good year for you to introduce yourself to other members of the Club, if you have not done so.
SilverHairsClub is the place for you to find new friends, and find other members with similar hobbies and interests.
1. SilverHairsClub.com: Has been upgraded to include new features eg adding pictures. You can attract members to your events by adding a picture to the Post.
2. Introduce yourself: If you have not introduced yourself, write to us. We would help you to put your introduction in the Club. Include something about yourself, hobbies, interest, work or even family. Tell us your dreams, plans and future ideas. What u like and what you don’t like. Tell us which schools you studied; you may find a lost class mate. Even which company you are working for. We like to know if you are retired or still working part-time or full time. Even the not-so-good about yourself eg you love to drink yourself drunk, or you love the casino from morning till night. Someone may like you. Age not needed as everyone is over 45.
3. Single Seniors: The Club has many activities, organised by fellow members. These activities will continue. In addition, this year, we are focusing on single seniors. Some of us may be single or “singles again”. Members who are legally not married can join “Paper Clips”. During the 1st 6 months, we will organise group singles activities, specially for “Paper Clips” only. These activities will have a 50:50 male:female ratio.

Participate in SilverHairsClub activities. And you will find new friends, SilverHairs friends. Travel together. Have tea or potluck sessions together. Play golf together.

The Club sent off its monthly news update yesterday. In this newsletter, we soft-launch “Paper Clips”, a program and series of activities, specially for our single seniors. One of the responses was to clarify what is “single again”. By single again, I meant someone who has been married, and is now legally single; for whatever the reason or cause. Originally, I was looking for a nice dish picture. After going through a few, I pick one; and this is the one on the banner. Cut, crop and up it goes.
Didnd realise that the dish contains almost finished food. When I realised it, I thought I would leave it up there; and see if anyone notices. You did. Well done, for being so sharp; Will keep it up there, until I find another picture. It’s fishy, alright.
