Postponement of Fri 28 June Morning Walk @Hort Park

Hi SHC Members,

Due to the smog our MORNING WALK for this Friday  28th June is postponed to Friday 26 July. Hopefully the haze will give way to pristine air for us by then!

Meanwhile there are a few SHC members who are playing Ping Pong EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING from 7.00 am to 10am at Clementi Sports Hall.

Do drop by to join us if you are living in the WEST….best sauna ever … you perspire till you need to change T-shirts/blouses!

  1. Hi Linda

I am very new kaki in joining the activites as I have not started on any. Is it always on. I am still working but off on Mondays. I am not a ping pong player but thinking of giving it a try. But I don’t have any ping pong equipment. Can I just come down empty handed. Do they have any extra bat to spare? Is the clementi sports hall the one opposite the Polyclinic and next to the HDB office? Is there anybody that I need to contact before I come?

I would like to join some activities on Monday afternoons as I am free in the afternoons. So far I don’t see any activities in the west for Monday afternoons. By the way I am staying near Bukit Batok.

    1. Hi Joanne,

Welcome though even if you have not join us for many moons.
The best way to get started is to join the event, and get to know the people from there.

If you had introduced yourself, chances are there will be other members who will return your intro.
      Give it a try.

  2. Hi Joanne,
Sorry for the late reply as I was away on holiday. Do come by to the Clementi Sports Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays to play ping pong with us from 7.00am. to 10.00am. There are 6 table tennis tables. Just ask who is Linda Chan and the players will point me out.
