EC Event ~ Coffee Kakis in the East – Next session on Thursday, 19th September

Hi friends of SHC!

I’m trying to get more coffee kakis for those staying in the East.  Details are as follows:

Every Thursday from 2 – 4 pm
Venue: Singapore Post Centre Food Court (next to the Paya Lebar MRT station) – easily accessible
Purpose: Just chit chat over some coffee ~ pastime, pastime… a platform to meet new friends.

There is a variety of Chinese, Malay, Indian, Japanese food, cold/hot desserts, coffee, tea and other beverages at the Food Court.

The next coffee meet will be held on 19th September.   Of course, members from the other parts of Singapore are most welcome to join in the fun. Wd appreciate if you could indicate your interest by registering here?

Feel free to invite your friends who are non-members too. This is now an EC event.

  5. Thanks Gabriella for initiating a Coffee break for the East gathering. I am residing in Kovan, but close to Paya Lebar MRT station. “Ngam ngam” I took leave on Wed & Thurs, so I am able to join in the coffee break and relax relax…..

    Just a suggestion for the chichat session, I would like to share and have some tips from others as to how to make Salad. It’s easy, but to have some unusual salad dressing is something I need to explore. Last Sunday evening, I had a bowl of simple salad, it has raw salmon, vegies and some sour sweet mango dressing, so yummy. :)

  6. Gab, what a date! 22nd Aug. so chun ya? this is the only 2nd time this year that someone is taking annual leave from work to dance on this Thursday afternoon at Tao Payoh. So sorry, will join you next Thursday. Cheers! SS

    I wish to congratulate you belatedly for your enthusiasm and effort in organising and making the first Kopi Kakis session a success. All participants enjoyed the afternoon gathering, which was set in a free, relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

    I found the meeting both interesting and informative, and wish to register for the next, scheduled for Thur 29 Aug at the same time and place. I request all members including those who had attended the last gathering, to lend support and keep its spirit and tempo pulsating. Please register immediately if you are free.
