Rise and Shine!

Good morning, Silver Babees!

Guess most of you are up and about; probably done your chores, walked the dog and had a hearty breakfast.  Others may be out walking, cycling or simply reading the papers at the coffee shop or at home.

A typical Sunday for me when I do not have an appointment is to sleep in, perhaps throw in some exercise and surfing the internet – chilling out totally.

How do you spend your Sundays?

Here’s a song to start our day…………

  1. My dear friend!

This morning I woke up at 9 am, had my exercise and replied your whatsapp. Having brunch now and since I’m fit n energetic today, so going for my T-dance at JCC. So nice to gain back my energy after being sick and in drowsy mode for the past 1 week.

Cheers and have a wonderful Sunday!

  2. I retired for a long time ago, but usually my alarm clock will wake me up on 7:30am or earlier every morning, except Sat and Sun

In these two day, no alarm clock will bother me, and I always stay in my dream until or after 12:xx pm. Just woke up and found still not 12:00 yet, Seems I will take my brunch and sleep again later.

  3. On a typical Sunday I wake up at 8am, have breakfast and do a bit of house chores such as cleaning the floor.
Before lunch I may have a quick nap.
In the afternoon I go to a foodcourt or a Hanis cafe to meet up with regular friends for a cup of coffee and chit-chat which will last until 5pm.
After that I will go to a neighbourhood park and do 45 min walking exercise.
At night when the weather is cooler and the environment is quieter I browse the internet to attend to emails, look up for interesting posts and make comments. I may also write letters to the ST Forum Page. I may watch some programs on the cable TV which are not available on the main media. E.g, recently I viewed a Nat Geo show on “Scams” which was very informative.

  4. Heyy Hottie Veronique

Good to know you are back on your feet after that bout of flu.

Yep, put on your dancing shoes and BOOGIE!!

  5. You know, Robert, there is something very sexy about a man doing housework; unless it’s done in a grouchy manner.

Your typical Sunday sounds interesting – doing chores, napping, meeting up with frens for coffee, walking exercise after sitting for hours and during the nite you spend your time on the internet and TV.

Very orderly and a day well spent. Fruitfully, I may add.

One thing is missing, though. When you look for interesting posts to comment, don’t forget to write a post from time to time, ok, Babee?

  6. Always look forward to weekends. Usually would be running errands not before breakfast with my mum (that’s the only Sat/Sun able to spend some time with the grand old lady) or pay bills (anyone care to take some load off mine? Haha).

But my fav breakfast destination esp on a nice Sat morning would be a short bus ride to Ikea Café at Alexandra Road, simply value for $$$. Includes free flow of coffee too.

Now that my knee is fine, able to hop, skip and jump…. my eye sight is much better, will begin cycling, leisurely of course and do some trekking again.

Any one care to join me?

  7. Ahh, BL, a son who actually looks forward to weekends just to be able to spend time with MAMA!! Totally awesome. And sweet. And cute. Not sexy, though. Kakakakaa…………..

Can’t join you cuz I can’t hop, skip, jump, half blind, never mounted a bicycle – only tricycle and I don’t do mudddd. Everrr.

  8. Hi Lady Boss

Cannot agree with you this time, Why not try something new, especially with a good tutor and nice companion like BL?

Imagine – wake up early in a Sat/Sun morning, meet BL at the Ikea Café at Alexandra Road, enjoy the breakfast and the free flow of coffee, then go hop/skip/jump/trek/cycling with the gentleman. Sure BL will carefully plan the easy and interesting one to trigger your interest, and proceed to a bit difficult one when you are ready. This should be a beautiful Sat/Sun.

To end my comment, here is some words for you “????????, ????????”, How, can confirm the employment of this employee?

  9. Wahhh, Andrew, trying to encourage an old cow who is TERRIFIED of the sun to have fun (good intention) and the ‘bonus’ to have more wrinkles and pigmentation? No, thank you!

I do not mind leisure night walks (like to walk). Wanna walk with me?

p/s you are still under probation…………….

  10. ” I do not mind leisure night walks (like to walk). Wanna walk with me?”

If any guy can resist this invitation, I am sure not the one. When I saw the invitation, the scenario of the night walk already come out to my mind – walking, chit chatting, eyes contacting, ????, ????, humming our duet …. of course, with my lady boss, there must be wine, finger food and …. much, much more fun.

So must remember your invitation and give me a night walk when I back from HK, ???? hor.

Can I also tell this to my brother in HK to make them envy me? Haha.

  11. ??? ???????

You are willing to walk with me and even remember my wine, food etc which makes me happy.

We shall wait till after you return from HK and start our leisure, hopefully romantic nite walk and if it’s a successful walk, we shall get more members to join us.

  12. Thanks, lady boss, a nice morning, I am still in Singapore today, but already think of taking my return trip back from HK to Singapore, haha.

Good idea, now we have monthly walking, morning walking, you should be the EO of another walking group – leisure cum romantic nite walking, with wine and light food, and even walk with hand in hand, (gay to lady, lady to lady, guy to guy) haha.

  13. Haha………return trip before going over. Sweet.

Enjoy your holiday. See you when we are ready to hold hands……..heehee.
