Meeting Place: Jurong East MRT, Exit D, Westgate entrance, near BreadTalk.

This is an EC activity; bring your adult friends who are 45 and above.
NOTE: in case of inclement weather — walk shall be cancelled.

The Ulu Pandan Park Connector was completed in Oct/Nov 2009. We have had
walk different parts of this connector in 2007 and 2010.
Let’s look forward to walk a longer stretch (about 8km), if possible.
The walkway is well paved and hope to cross a bridge which was a portion of the defunct Jurong Railway which was closed in the 1990s.
As the trail runs besides a canal that flows into Sungei Pandan; among the trees and shrubs look out for butterflies flitting among the greenery; colorful birds eg., the magnificent Purple Neck Heron, Kingfishers, Red-Capped Woodpeckers or the White Egret.

I am most impressed that you and your team have been consistently leading the healthy walks, since SilverHairsClub started more than 10 years ago.
Many of the walks are absolutely creative, and sometimes I wonder how this activity is brainstormed, tested and finally get started SHARP on time. The monthly walk has met SHC main objective too, as the activity provides a channel for members and non-members to mingle together during the time together.
Not just only once, but I like to thank you and your team many times for conscientiously make this monthly effort.
