  5. Hi Dolly, i missed your post. My condolences. After hearing from you on Zoom,, i can see you love your mother very much. We all have only one mother, amd it’s a pain to see her go. Enjoy the memories of her. Cry as much as you can, and do move on your next many years.

  9. Thank you very much, Dear buddy, for putting up this short and perfectly sweet post with regards to my mum’s passing on.

I shall not listed out all names individually here for those who sent their condolences be it here, watapps, messages or phone calls and kind act of contributions as well as putting my mum in your prayers for safe journey to next stage of existence – All our Lim’s family members would like to say that we were grateful and appreciated with many thanks.

A thousand apologies to some whom watapped and called me for wake’s details, as much as I would like this wake to be packed with friends to keep my mum’s company but regret to say that we had to forgo the option due to the strict R&R imposed by the Town Council, ie not more than 30paxs in any sessions, ensure 100% temperature takings for all guests and not forgetting safe distancing.

Watched her suffering in pain – I had done that.
Memories of happy moment with my mum – I had done that.
Cried as much I wanted to – I had done that,
Moving on -Trying to come term with this – I know that I need to do that.
Life needs to go on – I am aware of that too.. but….

Last but not the least, thank you all again… Best regards… Dolly

  10. Dear Dolly,

    Just saw this post.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family during this period.

I deeply understand your situation, my late mum passed on 2.5 years ago and she was bedridden for 15 years, cannot speak, cannot eat only on tube feeding, one side of body was very strong and she used to pull out her tube from her nose if her hand was left loose. For 15 years, one hand must be securely tied to her bed. After only few years of bedridden life, she was a big size lady before but, in the end, left with skin and bones all over.

    Take care!
