Some changes to membership criteria and club rules

There will be some changes to our membership criteria and rules.  The changes are minimal, and intended to stress and clarify key points.

1.  No new memberships will be accepted after 31 Dec 2012.  Membership application will reopen in Feb 2013, with new criteria.  We will do another review of members who are not active.

2.  Members who participate in SHC activities but have not entered the Club at least once during the lifetime of the membership, at SilverHairsClub.com may have to contact admin@SilverhairsClub to verify their membership, from time to time.  Members using different registered email addresses would also have their membership cancelled.

3.  The club strictly forbids discussions and invitations on religion, sex, race, politics, direct selling and MLM in the forum as well as in all SHC activities.  Definitions of sex:  No sexual procurement and sexual harassment. Definition of direct selling: No selling of products and services, except during Club’s fleamarts.  No distribution of business cards with the intention of promoting one’s products and services, except during Club’s business gatherings.

MLM and get rich fast programs are strictly forbidden, including invitations to visit websites.

SilverHairsClub will remain flexible and understanding in enforcing the above rules.  If in doubt, members are required to check with admin@SilverHairsClub.com.

4.  Collection of email addresses from the website or at gatherings, with the intention to spam, send promotional materials, invitatons and stories, without the approval of members is not permitted.

Please observe these minor changes.

What do you mean by ‘please observe these minor changes’??

These are the existing TABOOS which we have since a 100 years ago which I TOTALLY agree (for once) and you know what, darling, you have finally define the sex taboo which some members have hard ons and scream across the board, thinking we have crossed the line.

By the way, stop invoicing me for services rendered, kekekekee, since we can’t procure or ask for such services although you have sooooo adorably told the first co-ed skype that we can write on a piece of paper…..bwahahahaa…soooo cute!! Luv ittt.

Point number 4 gets my total thumbs up as I am very, very into privacy and get very agitated for whateverrr.

    Where is the fooking paparazzzzzzi??

    Goonite, babee.

  2. Reminder that current membership applications will closed end Dec 2013. New applications will start next year in Feb 2013 will new criteria.

  3. Please note new membership application will not be accepted from 31 Dec 2012.

There will also be a reset of membership access from today.

Memberships would be re-opened on 1 Feb 2013, or as and when ready.

It your comments or posts come under moderation from now to end Jan 2013, they may take a longer time to be released from the moderation queue.

    Apology for any inconvenience.

  4. Applications for memberships are closed for now, until 1 Feb. 2013.

    1. All new members will need to introduce themselves, prior to acceptance of membership.

    2. Online membership registration will no longer be available.

    3. Members who have not entered SilverHairsClub.com since registration, will be required to update their membership.

    4. All other details remain unchanged.

  5. For the moment until we complete the software upgrade, all EOs will be able to EDIT their Posts. Please note the EDIT feature is to be used strictly for name registration.

  6. Dear members,

If after trying for a number of times, and you are still not able to put up a Post, you may seek assistance from Loh Yew Kwong, Lily Ho and Dolly Lim. They have been with SHC for a long time, and understand what is acceptable and what is not.

Published posts are still the responsibility of the member. Non-members’ Posts will not be published.

  7. Breach of Club rules. SHC does not allow members to solicit MLM business during its gatherings and on the Club forum. This is strictly unacceptable, and unfortunately, the Club will remove the membership of members who try to sell their products by contacting members via email, phone numbers, or other means.

Recently, during a monthly gathering, a member joined the dicussions at a table and collected telephone numbers of those around him. During the days ahead, members who had given their telephone numbers were contacted and marketed a MLM product. Please do not write your name, tel and email address on a piece of paper for later distribution. If you do, you have to understand the consequences of doing so. The discretion is yours.

Should you know of anyone in breach of our taboos, please write to admin@SilverHairsClub.com. Your confidentiality is assured.
