~ FRIENDS ~
As we walk our path of life,
We meet people everyday.
Most are simply met by chance.
But, some are sent our way.
These become special friends
Whose bond we can’t explain;
The ones who understand us
And share our joy and pain.
Their love contains no boundaries.
So, even we are apart.
Their presence enhances us
With a warmth felt in the heart.
This love becomes a passageway,
When even the miles disappear.
And so, these friends, God sends our way,
Remain forever near.

If Christmas is biding from the nook
2007 must be beckoning in the corner
As 2006 comes to a close
Into a new year are we better disposed?
Old is gold so we’re told
By none other than joker Joe
As business goes a booming
Will opportunities come our way blooming?
Silverhair or not we live in hope
Even in bad years we had suavely coped
Now we have Silverhair Club
United in fellowship we surely are one-up.
Even as we look fore to 2007 in anticipation
We need not have fear or trepidation
For we know in Silverhairs
We have folks who care.
Same here. I wish all SHC people a very Merry Christmas.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to join in the fun in S’pore as I will be away.
