Hello SHCs. <\/p>\n
We will commence our first walking activity on Sat 18th Feb at 4pm. The route chosen is intentionally kept easy to accomodate non regular walkers. You can invite any friend along.<\/p>\n
We will meet at Paddle Lodge, a canoeing station, about 100 metres from Macritchie bus stop. From meeting point, we will take the boardwalk skirting the water edge, walking ocassionally among the trees for about 40 minutes and return via the adjoining jogging track. The total time is about 1 hour 20 mins. There is a washroom with toilet facility nearby. Drinks from a vending machine is also available. Alternatively, we proceed to the hill top food kiosk fronting the reservoir. <\/p>\n
Put on a pair of comfortable walking shoe, some sun block cream and bring along a sunshade cap, a pair of sunglasses, a water bottle and a foldable small umbrella or puncho ( in case it rains).<\/p>\n
