March Walk will take us to a new place – Kallang Riverside park and Marina Promenade with water view all the way and plenty of trees to provide shade. If we are lucky we may get to view the ‘duck’ (amphibious tourist boat with wheels) at close range coming on shore.<\/p>\n
Date – 11th March Saturday , 4.30pm. Meet at Kallang MRT station .<\/strong><\/p>\n From there we take a short 5 mins walk to Kallang River park and continue into Marina Promenade, then walk all the way to the ‘Durian'(Esplanade Theatres). The total walk is about 3 miles and takes about 1hr 15 mins at normal walking speed. We take a 10 mins rest midway.<\/p>\n At our destination there are many food outlets including an open air hawker centre.
