{"id":2379,"date":"2009-02-01T21:10:55","date_gmt":"2009-02-01T13:10:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/silverhairsclub.com\/2009\/02\/2379"},"modified":"2009-03-06T14:31:50","modified_gmt":"2009-03-06T06:31:50","slug":"shc-monthly-gathering-sun-15-mar-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/silverhairsclub.com\/?p=2379","title":{"rendered":"SHC monthly gathering &#8211; Sun, 15 Mar 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For planning purposes, the March monthly gathering will likely be held as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><font color=\"#0000cc\">Venue:&nbsp; <strike>Somewhere in Little India Civil Sports club @ Tessensohn Road<\/strike>&nbsp; Likely to be changed again.<\/font><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><font color=\"#0000cc\">Date:&nbsp; <strike>Likely <\/strike>Sun 15 Mar 2009.<\/font><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><font color=\"#0000cc\">Time:&nbsp; 1500&nbsp; &#8211; 1900 hrs.<\/font><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Entrance:&nbsp; Free, except if buffet and drinks needed.<\/li>\n<li>Dress code:&nbsp; As you would wear on a Sunday.<\/li>\n<li>Event Organiser:&nbsp; Will be announced at a later date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have not had a Sunday monthly gathering for many moons.&nbsp; To cater to those who have been missing during the weekday gatherings, this event will be held on a Sunday.&nbsp; It&nbsp;will revolve around getting to know one another, activities with a pool view and plenty of fresh air.&nbsp; If organised properly, there will be a sound system, with DVD player, music and amplifier.&nbsp; Enough seating for everbody, to chat.&nbsp; Focus will be new and old members.&nbsp; For those who have no lunch, the thinking is to have a little buffet&nbsp;or a BBQ.&nbsp;&nbsp;And, if you love&nbsp;to sing, I think there are opportunities too.&nbsp; Now, all these thinking is still at thinking stage.<\/p>\n<p>For new members, and old members, please keep this date.&nbsp; Details will be available after the Feb monthly gathering.<\/p>\n<p>Meantime, I like to start to look out for a number of SHCians to help make this event fun.&nbsp; If you are fun, not very serious,&nbsp;always with a smile,&nbsp;colourful and helpful. &nbsp;One of my philosophies is &quot;A little disorganisation&quot; is fun.&nbsp; It&#8217;s fun to be a SHCian.&nbsp; Please raise your hand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Terence Seah<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For planning purposes, the March monthly gathering will likely be held as follows: Venue:&nbsp; Somewhere in Little India Civil Sports club @ Tessensohn Road&nbsp; Likely to be changed again.
