My name is. Tan Seok Wah.  Call me Susan Tan.  I was introduced  SHC website by a primary school teacher Jean Ong.  who works in the schooI which I am in.  I decided to join SHC, after reading the many activities organised by the club. I take this opportunity too, to thank Terence for his warm welcome.<\/p>\n

I’m in the fifties as a I was born in the year of the rabbit. I’m working in a primary school in Jurong West as a teacher’s assistant . I enjoy  reading (thrillers, legal, criminal, ghost stories, Chinese Classics and Historical movies  and on TV during my free time) and cooking especially vegetarian cooking.<\/p>\n

As my 2 sons are in the universities and busy with their studies and are spending less time with me and I’m hoping that by joining SHC, I would be able to make and meet new friends and to join in some of the activities.<\/p>\n

Tonight I happen to be in SHC website and saw an article on St Joseph’s Home Visit on May 1st 2009.  My friend Jane Ong and I would like  to  volunteer as  helpers  in St Joseph’s Home..  I noticed on the volunteer list there is  a lady by the name of "Susan Tan."  That makes me want to join in as a volunteer helper and hope I can meet her on that day.<\/p>\n
