MediaCorp Studios is producing a 4-part series sponsored by HSBC<\/font> tentatively<\/font> called<\/font> \u2018<\/font>A Privileged Life<\/font>\u2019<\/font>, and the production team is currently looking for keen, available and relevant guests to appear on the show.<\/font> |
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

The show focuses on<\/font> retirement planning strategies, and will share with viewers the aims and aspirations of people from all walks of life as they prepare for their retirement. The episodes will not just revolve around those approaching the age of retirement. Instead, there w<\/font>i<\/font>ll be an emphasis on how young people today too are adopting a long term view of their futures and funding needs. We wish to give a relevant and fun spin to the show, and produce something that viewers can relate to and enjoy, rather than just another pro<\/font>g<\/font>ramme about managing one<\/font>\u2019<\/font>s finances.<\/font><\/p>\n

I stumbled across an article on the internet, and learnt that you are the founder of the SilverHairsClub, and what caught my attention was<\/font> a quote in which you said<\/font> \u2018<\/font>Personally, I think a true and meaningful retirement means finding more time for<\/font> oneself<\/font>, being visibly active and financially ok.<\/font>\u2019<\/font> <\/font>Based on your background<\/font> and<\/font> you<\/font>r alternative views on what it means to retire<\/font>, we feel that you fit the bill, and would make an interesting and appealing<\/font> guest to feature on the show.<\/font> V<\/font>iewers would indeed love to see how<\/font> it<\/font> is financially possible to<\/font> retire comfortably<\/font> and actively<\/font>, as well as how retirement need not<\/font> necessarily<\/font> entail<\/font> giving up your profession to kick back and<\/font> relax.<\/font> <\/font>
\n<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Production is slated to take place from mid-May to end-June, but we should only need one and a half days for the shoot. <\/font><\/p>\n

We are<\/font> looking to feature people with interesting stories to share, with different takes on retirement and<\/font> retirement<\/font> planning<\/font>.
\n<\/font>I<\/font>f you know anyone who for instance, has always taken an interest in a h<\/font>o<\/font>bby, and left their professions to<\/font> make that hobby<\/font> a full time commitment eg.<\/font> T<\/font>oy<\/font> collector turned<\/font> toy retailer.<\/font><\/p>\n
