The Ulu Pandan Park Connector was completed in Oct\/Nov 2009. We have had
\nwalk different parts of this connector in 2007 and 2010.<\/p>\n
Let’s look forward to walk a longer stretch (about 8km), if possible.<\/p>\n
The walkway is well paved and hope to cross a bridge which was a portion of the defunct Jurong Railway which was closed in the 1990s.<\/p>\n
As the trail runs besides a canal that flows into Sungei Pandan; among the trees and shrubs look out for butterflies flitting among the greenery; colorful birds eg., the magnificent Purple Neck Heron, Kingfishers, Red-Capped Woodpeckers or the White Egret.<\/p>\n
