Distance 6 km<br \/>\n<strong>Meeting Place: Kallang mrt<\/strong> .<br \/>\nECs: Charles Wee with Christina Chan<\/p>\n<p>This is a very popular route for an evening walk. The walk takes us to the most beautiful and scenic part of Singapore, its waterways and manicured gardens. Enjoy a panaromic view of modern Singapore, its many iconic landmarks and smartly designed buildings.<br \/>\nWe commence our walk from Kallang mrt (EW Line), walk past old Kallang Airport control tower towards Kallang Stadium. There we take a lift to its upper floor jogging track, after which we proceed towards Tanjong Rhu condominium , continuing along a stretch for walkers, joggers, skaters and cyclists. This section borders the Bay and is lined with many flowering plants. It is a favourite spot for photo taking and many Media Corp TV serial shots were taken there.<\/p>\n<p>After crossing Marina Reservoir Dam embankment, we will stroll through Bay Garden to our final destination at Marina Bay Sands where we can have a nice dinner at the foodcourt.<br \/>\nBayfront mrt is also located there.<\/p>\n<p>Wear comfortable footwear, no slippers\/sandals.<br \/>\nProtect oneself with sun screen, sunglasses, caps. And bring along an Umbrella.<br \/>\nThe Walk Team: ChristinA Chan, Veronica Wong, Mary Tan, Linda Chua ,Azhari Cuttilan and Charles Wee.<\/p>\n<p>This is an EC activity .
