Meet: Near taxi stand at Bishan Road (just outside Bishan MRT)<\/strong><\/p>\n Walk leaders: Charles Wee & ChristinaCL Chan<\/p>\n After our strenuous railway walk last month, we shall now do an easy walk for August. This walking route which ends at Potong Pasir , takes us past the Bishan MRT depot, underneath the CTE , across the overhead bridge at Braddel Road and towards St Andrew’s School. <\/p>\n On the way, if lady luck smiles on us, we may spot some cranes feeding in the "Sungei"\/river and some small time fishermen hoping to get a bigger "catch" than what is possible.<\/p>\n Nearer to Potong Pasir, the canal broadens into a river. The scenery here is very peaceful and picturesque,,,, R E L A X I N G ! Try your photographing skills to capture somebeautiful shots! We will soon reach the well known Sri Sivadurga temple after crossing the bridge over the river. Opposite the temple is a coffee shop, famous for its freshly made paos and siewmais.
