Below is this month’s SHC updates on events to all members.<\/p>\n

Dear fellow SilverHairsClub members,<\/p>\n

My name is Frisna Tan.  I have been a SHC member since Aug 2008.  This month, I am writing the SilverHairsClub end Nov news update.  I hope you like it, and that this
\nwill be an encouragement for members who have yet to participate actively in the club.<\/p>\n

I turn Double Five recently. Sad? No. Feel old? absolutely not!<\/p>\n

In fact I feel good and energetic after badminton every week.  cycling home with the new bike (b\/d present) and letting the wind blow my hairs and dry my sweat – life is so bright and sunny!<\/p>\n

To me, age is just a string of days, months, years pieced together. yes, we do miss some pieces here and there. forget what we did on certain days and what happened to our life on a particular period of time, but it’s all right. It’s normal.<\/p>\n

If you find a group of friends not to your liking or their thought\/interest not in sinc with yours, it’s ok. just move on to find another group. The most important thing is YOU MUST NOT GIVE UP! Try, try and try again until you’re successful.<\/p>\n

Recently I talked to 1 of the participants at our tea time potluck gathering. He said it’ll be good if there’s someone we can always talk to in time of sadness and happiness (he’s single) rather than just coop up inside. I agree with him 100%. It feels good if there’s always someone to talk to no matter what the subject is right? (and prevent you from doing something silly like what the Samaritan SOS do).<\/p>\n

so if you feel like talking to someone but not sure whether the person will share your feeling or whether he\/she will keep your secret – then talk to me. I volunteer to be SHC LISTENING EARS!<\/p>\n

But before that, do participate in SHC activities like what’s lining up here for you…cheerio!<\/p>\n
