There are some <br \/>large trees which have grown to majestic heights and, looking up from <br \/>underneath 1 of these trees gives a sense of awe.&nbsp; Plenty of light, not creepy <br \/>at all along the main paths which are relative wide.<br \/>Expect to see horses as there is a riding school &amp; polo club nearby. <br \/>Join us to appreciate the area&rsquo;s historical, cultural and spiritual <br \/>aspects,,, before it is gone!<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br \/><strong>2nd Part<\/strong> &#8211; MacRitchie Reservoir Park &#8211;&nbsp; EOs Veronica Wong &amp; Mary Tan<br \/>Another gateway to nature, MacRitchie Reservoir is Singapore&#8217;s oldest reservoir. <br \/>Gazetted as a heritage building, the zig-zag bridge and bandstand has been <br \/>reconditioned and restored. Experience walking in ankle-deep water and getting <br \/>your feet wet on the submerged boardwalk to be in close contact <br \/>with water plants and aquatic life.&nbsp; A relax walk along the boardwalk trail.&nbsp; <br \/>Enjoy a beautiful sunset at the reservoir against the backdrop of dense rainforest. <\/p>\n<p>We shall end the walk at the Mushroom Caf\u00e9.<br \/>It serves a wide range of food.&nbsp; They have chicken, beef stew served with rice, <br \/>mee siam, curry puffs, icecream, chendol, chicken wings, coffee, many types, <br \/>fruit juices.
