2007 (Saturday)<\/font><\/strong> <br \/><strong><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Place:<\/font><\/strong> <font face=\"Times New Roman\">Bukit Timah Nature Reserve<\/font> <br \/><strong><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Start Time:<\/font><\/strong> <font face=\"Times New Roman\">We start the walk at 4.30pm.&nbsp; No delay as we have to be out before it gets dark.<\/font> <br \/><strong><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Meeting point: Visitor Centre, Hindhede Drive<\/font><\/strong> <br \/><strong><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Getting there:<\/font><\/strong> <font face=\"Times New Roman\">By bus. 67, 75, 170, 171, 173, 184, 852, 961.&nbsp; Alight at Upper Bukit Timah Rd, opposite Bukit Timah Shopping Centre (after Beauty World Centre\/Plaza).&nbsp; Donot cross the overhead pedestrian bridge to Bukit Timah Shopping Centre.&nbsp; Instead walk towards Courts (follow the direction of traffic) and cross at Courts to Hindhede Rd.&nbsp; &quot;Raintree Condo&quot; under construction just at the entrance of Hindhede Rd.&nbsp;&nbsp; From Hindhede Rd, turn&nbsp; into Hindhede Drive and you will see Visitor Centre. 10-15 min walk.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">By MRT.&nbsp; At Newton Stn, take Tibs 171 and at Clementi Stn take 184 (loop service)<\/font> <br \/><font face=\"Times New Roman\">By Car.&nbsp; Fr city to Woodlands.&nbsp; Turn right at pedestrian bridge nr Courts along Upper Bukit Timah Rd and into Hindhede Rd\/Drive.&nbsp; Parking Free.&nbsp;&nbsp; Parking available at Beauty World which has an overhead pedestrian crossing leading directly out of the carpark.<\/font><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><font face=\"Times New Roman\">The Walk:&nbsp;<\/font><\/strong> <font face=\"Times New Roman\">Early birds can view the exhibits at the Visitor Centre before the Walk.&nbsp; We can take the hard road trail or the South View Path trail into the foliage to reach the summit.&nbsp; Part of the path is closed because of landslide in December.&nbsp; You may have to climb more than 150 steps to the Summit.&nbsp; Total time taken: 1 to 2&nbsp; hr.&nbsp;&nbsp; For those who cannot take slopes\/climbs,&nbsp; pl consult your family Doctor for advice.&nbsp; For your info&nbsp; :&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
