Music makes the world go round. \u00a0This is definitely true, judging from the music and songs that are played on this website and during our varied events. \u00a0I had played the role of the Video Jockey. \u00a0Our second VJ was Dolly Lim.\u00a0 Now, I think it is a good time to have our third VJ.\u00a0 This is an opportunity to express your music talents and interests.\u00a0 If you are shy, this may be the role for you.<\/p>\n
In this role, the VJ\u00a0picks songs from the 60s and 70s, and play them on the top left hand corner of the Club\u2019s website. \u00a0These music clips can also be from any era, and any language. \u00a0Sometimes, the video can be inline with current activities and members\u2019 requests.<\/p>\n
Pre-requisites would include:<\/p>\n
1. \u00a0Familiar with songs from the 50s, 60 and 70s, in our common languages and dialects.<\/p>\n
2. \u00a0You must believe that\u00a0that “Music makes the world go round”.<\/p>\n
3. \u00a0Familiar with the SHC culture, and loves helping fellow members get to know new and more friends.\u00a0 Have been with the Club for at least two years.\u00a0 Can interact with the Club membership.<\/p>\n
4. \u00a0Able to spend 30 mins a week, to select videos and upload this video to our web server.<\/p>\n
5. \u00a0This role is not difficult; although the person should be comfortable with the\u00a0computer and internet.<\/p>\n
6. \u00a0Can be of any sex and and age.<\/p>\n
