For your information, I am doing a repeat of this talk (last done in Nov\/2012) in Leng Kee CC (5-minutes walk from Redhill MRT) on the abovementioned date. The time is from 3.00PM to 5.00PM. The classroom can only accommodate 20 persons and registration will close at 20.<\/p>\nPreamble: The quest for knowledge is a human instinct.\u00a0 In our golden years, we are not so able to travel far and long distances. But not to worry, we have the Internet, a worldwide network where we can network with our love ones\/friends, find out, enjoy, see a movie, etc., practically anything we can think of, most of it is for FREE and at the comfort of our home. All we need to invest in is a broadband Internet plan and a smart device (desktop\/laptop computer, iPad, tablet, etc.). Last but not least, we must know how to use the tools we have invested in.<\/p>\n
NB: I am also doing voluntary work with YWCA. At the moment is conducting Basic to Intermediate Excel (4-sessions course). The fees are $20 and $24 for members and non-members respectively. All monies go to YWCA. Those interested can contact ywca.org.sg<\/p>\n
