  1. Hi Hew Lee,

One of the best intro I have read so far. A very warm welcome to SHC, hope to bump into you soon.

    Regards:D

  2. Hi Hew Lee,

    Welcome Welcome!!

I’m just as new – not even a month old, haha.
Just ‘enrolled’ into your photography interest group –
hope you join my SHC Drama Group too, hee.

    Best Regards,
    Pearl Wong.

  3. Welcome Hew Lee, I am also new.

Haha another music lover. I love music and I love to play musical instruments, especially the electone organ more than the piano as electone organ have alot of background rhythm.

Music – the stress removal – strongly agrees, and its also soothe the pain in my heart when I lost both my mum and dad within 7 months apart between 2006 and 2007.

Thats the year I started to learn to play the piano, a late starter but I pick up fast as I had played the electone organ for more than 25 yrs prior to learning the piano.

I look forward to meeting up with more music lovers.

  4. Hi Hew Lee

Loved how you wrote your profile. So easy to read. Especially like :-

    * The phrase “25 random things about me”. Wonder how you picked 25 and not some other random number.

    * “Marriage is like…, life is like…, kopi si gosong” are random, but not about you leh. So how about share some more random things about yourself to make up to the 25 huh. :)

    * “Jokes that have no words”. Hope to see some of these when we meet at an SHC event.

    Joy

  5. #1 Kwai Yin, #2 Charles Wee & #3 Pearl Wong: – Thanks
#4 Wong Eunice: – You know, in the old days, one musical CD can cost around $28 to $35. Going to a musical CD shop can easily be $120 poorer.
#5 Joy: – The 25 Random Things … idea came from FB where my daughter started to write about herself. Why 25 and not more or less, I don’t know. I beg to defer on your views on my points #5 and #8. These are just my believe and lifestyle approach to have a successful and happy life as a man with a wife. #5 Chopsticks always come in pairs – each stick is dependent on the other to function properly.
#8 When on a conveyor belt, think of it in the context of a production line ….. sometimes we go through fire, then follow by through water or get hammered to shape (to conform) or all sorts of quality conformance. If not, you may land up as a reject and be discarded.
Jokes without words – image a picture with a fat boy pushing the entrance door to “Mensa” School where the door sign clearly stated to PULL. If you have the sense of humor and understand the word Mensa you will laugh. [Mensa is for the elite high IQ Society].

  6. Hi Hew Lee,
If one reads beyond words, then, Hew Lee, you have indeed reviewed alot about yourself. Considering SHC requirements from member is just a name and an email address. Regards:D

  7. Hi Hew Lee

Welcome to the club. :) Your 25 points say quite a lot about you. Thanks for sharing your photography interest/skills with SHC members. Very generous of you.

Looking forward to your outdoor photography excursion.

  8. Hew Lee

We have met. It is good that you reveal more about yourself here. Now you will become popular, many people will be seeking you out to talk about common interests.

I for one will look out for you to talk about good quality music. I still listen to 1-2 hours of music each day from my HiFi. It calms me done and relaxes me before I go to bed.

I also take photos but only of animals and birds…..those with 4 legs or feathers.

You look good in the picture on this page.

  9. I like you Hew Lee. Simple, humble and to the point. Meticulous too. I share almost all your “25 random things”, except my furthest North was Chiang Mai, Thailand – and some 20 years ago. Sure hope to meet up with you. Welcome to SHC and best regards !!!

  10. Hi Hew Lee, welcome to the Club, I’s so easy to get to know you just by loking at the 25 random things about yourself.

To me marriage is ‘like a sailor going to sea, you never know whether you will encounter stormy weather, tempest, shipwreck, sunken treasures or a pearl of great price’!

If you are not one to ‘live to eat’ then it must be ‘eat to live, tell us more.

Recently I have taken to drinking more coffee. In a survey done, drinking at least 3 cup a day help ua to stay away from various ailments like heart disease, diabetes, dementia, liver diease, prostate cancer, gout and breast cancer. Dun believe, ask me for the report.

  11. #7 & #8 Kwai Yin: – Thank you.
    #9 Jassmine: – See you on 23/7.
#10 Tian Soo: – Yes, we met. I prefer light classical and instrumental. Some jazz and vocal if it has good rhythm and with good lyrics (e.g. Collin Raye – Love Me).
#11 Daniel: – Thanks for your compliment.
#12 Dan Huang: – Yes, you can also see marriage that way.
No two persons are the same in eating habits – whether he is live to eat or eat to live person. Only advice I can give is to eat with moderation and with a well balanced diet.
