Dear All,

First of all, pls let me thank Terence who granted me the membership.Briefly I am a very keen tennis player. I played 4 – 5 times a week with my fellow  residents.

I would like to invite if there are any tennis players who are interested to play. Besides  I also loved Karaoke , Chinese and Hokkien songs.

    First of all to welcome you to Silverhairs’ fold, but….the question mark remains to be answered….I for one, but do not know of others, whether to address you as Miss or Mister lhl, and as for “northvale”, I can only think of Sengkang, correct me if I’m wrong,and whether you are still actively working, semi-retire or retiree. Please let us know more abt your goodself.

    I use to play tennis long time ago, but wud luv to join yr ‘kaki’ one day..hhmm :)
    U must be a tauke or tauke neo..got lots of time to play 5X a wk!

  4. Guess its surname “lhl” family name “Northvale”. If not then it sounds more like a username taken from the plc (“lhl” living at NorthVale at No. 61 – 73 CCK Loop) where he lives.

    Anyway, welcome to SHC family. Hope ur stay wif us will bring U lots of laughters n funs.

    Wow, I didn’t expect to get some many notes and really appreciate all your concerns and sincerity in trying to figure out who I am.
    Agree my profile is very very brief.Don’t know what to write or anything good for me to write about myself.
    Well, more details.. I am a male ,55+ and still in full time employment.I am married with 2 grown up children.Yes, I stayed in Northvale, the condo just opposite the Lot 1 shopping mall and the CCK MRT station.

    Thanks for your comment, is nice to know that you are still actively contributing to the society, and residing in Choa Chu Kang area, as predicted by Catherine Yeo, who I guess knows Singapore better than me. No doubt, I have been to Choa Chu Kang and Lim Chu Kang area very often, every two months once, to visit the nurseries, I do not know there is a Northvale around there. Nowadays, you can find high sounding names of Condo in Singapore, even HDB estates bear names you will never think of, thats what Singapore is. Come and join us in our various activities organise by Silverhairs for Silverhairs.

  13. Finally, a keen Tennis player appeared..the wait is worth waiting for. Have stopped playing 20 years ago cos’ all my kakis married one married. No married one “MIA”. So, no kakis for all these years. Skill might get a little rusty..guess still can manage.

    How about a game or two? Might not match up to your level. Got to start all over again.

    Dont hv 2 spend so much 2 get one. Get them from the internet auction sites or salvation army 4 used ones. Once U are comfort, then spend n get the ones U wish 2 hv. Initial heavy investment on equipment may go into waste if your interest dies along the way.

    Thanks for the confidence in my direction sense but I just got lucky. The truth is – put me in the east coast and I will probably make a few rounds before I get to my destination. Well, I guess you win some and lose some hehe

    Are you and Alice joining us for the Mt. Faber walk? If so, are you going to be our cameraman as well? Didn”t see you both at the linedance class yesterday.

    Is good for you to join the rest of Silverhairs to contemplate climbing up Mt. Faber, and if Alice and I going to climb, we better climb with our 4-wheeler, and wait for you at the top by the JEWELS and shoot down at that angle any photography taken be very beautiful.
