  1. Alamak EO YewKwong..
Mati lah..this time maybe have to ponteng..cos so long tak balek kampong!..the chickens, ducks & cats nobody take care lah…so kesian..hehe :)

  2. Hi Norlinda

Rest assured your neighbors will care 4 them. Malaysians make gd neighbors especially the bonding kampong spirit stays n lives. Only thing u may find is some number is missing. Likely gone into their cooking pot.

  3. Hi Norlinda,

Can you sell me 2 of your REAL ” KAMPONG ” Chickens, the type that you rear and run around in the compound and have muscular bodies. NOT the type that we buy from NTUC that are labelled as kampong chicken that are rear in chicken farms and kesian! chicken that had hardly any space to walk but within the cage. NOT enough exercise.

The real live kampong chicken which has been slaughtered and immediately cooked is EXTREMELY JUICY and TENDER and makes great gourmet. MO TAK THENG ! ( BANYAK SEDAP )

However, the NTUC frozen ” PIRATED ” kampong chicken has lost its NATURAL sweetness and more LEMBEK.

So Nor, BALEK KAMPONG and attend to your chickens. Ha! Ha!

  4. Hahaha!!

How does kampong chicken get in on this cycling post?

Anyway, Steven: NTUC chicken is labelled “kampong-flavoured chicken”, rather like the SHCs who cycle through the kampong lanes at Pengerang lately…. only passing through.

Personally, I now favour the Sakura chicken also available from NTUC: good size and weight and suitable for roasting. Also not so “lembek” as their normal chicken!

  5. YewKwong@2..
Ya lah..they care for the birds to makan,surely..but the bats sangat naughty always have party at the balcony & left their ‘mess’ around!..hhhmmm.

    StevenC@3..
alamak!, even i can catch the chicken..how to bring back here lah…must go thru custom & must learn ‘crying’ technique like Carly!,susah lah!..apa macam?

    Kenneth@7..
Oooppss!…salah lane! ,this not chicken thread but cycling!..sori hor EO..better calibot now!:)

  6. Hi Norli Sayang @ 10,

Alamak! Sudah lupa itu Carly Chicken Custom Incident.

Ma’af lah kerana S.T.M.? Kadang 2 rambut akan
    jadi emas merah.

  7. Hi passionate riders

Our next cycling event for next month may be oversea, either to Pengerang or Desaru.

Training leisurely starts from this Saturday

As usual, we start off from McDonald at 3pm for our long distance ride.

    regards

  8. Hi Douglas,

I will join you all for the 3pm passionate cycling to
    Changi village.

If Desaru, better to have at least 1 night stay at chalets to rest our Ang Ang “splitted” bums and to “recharge” for the next day.

Otherwise, tak boleh tahan if NO rest and cycle back to Pengarang on same day.

Heard YK says that there are rental bikes at Pengarang and that saves us from carrying the bikes to the boat.

  9. Hi Douglas,

What time will u b at ChangiV? May arrange to meet you there.

    Hi Yew Kwong,
Don’t forget a few of us have committed to volunteer as safety cyclist the same evening (same place), i know you don’t have to sleep but i’ll sure going to miss mine…

    Rgds / Joyce

  10. Hi Steven
Thanks for your keen interest and feedback, your concern is noted. we will customised our rides either a day trip to Sg Rengit or overnight from Desaru.

What you heard from YK, regarding rental bikes from Pengerang, is correct.

We may rent from this bike shop and we don’t have to carry the bikes to and from the bumboat. Rental cost SGD10 per day.

    Hi Joyce
we should be there around 4.30pm, hope to meet you at the usual CV stall.

Unlike YK, I will not be attending the 4PM cycling event as I also value my sleep. I may stay after the monthly cycling event and support the SafetyTeamfor4PM group of cyclists.

    regards

  11. Hi Joyce

I 2 need sleep but probably retire 2 bed early by 8 pm on Fri nite.

    Hi Douglas

Tks 4 coming 2 support us safety cyclists. At least we get 2 take dinner 2gether n chat over the cycling practices.

  12. Hi EO’s

Ah Nee I’ll recite the original version of Hou Chong’s poem for you since you requested. But, please bear with my inaccurate pronunciation and like HC said I tickle whenever I recite the poem.

  14. Hi Yew Kwong

Is the meeting place & time inside McDonalds @3pm for those cycling to Changi Village? How can we recognize the cycling group as this is my first time joining?

    Regards
    Kim Leong

  15. Hi Leong Kim
