Good morning with warmest greetings from me to you guys and gals !
I was following this Club recommended by my x- collegue Catherine for sometime now – but due to my work n other matters – I did not actively took part in the activities . Now I had just been retired since 1 August – time is now on my hands – and so here I am !
Let me release some of my personal info :
Full name : Fong Ten Meng ( Mr) — my friends call me Fong Fong !! Age : 62 old yrs – but like johnny walker born in 1948 – still going strong / healthy ! – live in Tampines East
Interest : outdoor life / adventure especially out of S’pore + watch games ( soccer/table tennis / badminton ). Like to play badminton – may join the on -going sessions
Not interested : dancing / play mahjong -cards – reason no interest to learn in depth !
My first SHC activity : look forward to meet all on sat 4/9/10 in Side Tavern from 2 pm for the East members meet
Keen to volunteer to help for the matters I am able to !

Most activities require members to post that they are attending because of table booking or catering. You can attend every activity but mostly registration is required.

My apologies for not replying to your previous email!
We met yesterday -agreed to have the next SHC East meet in your condo’s club house on 2/10 . I have called up this food mini caterer -here are details on their dinner supplies :
* each dinner is packed in attractive see-thru ready-to-eat PVC boxes * delivery charge is $3 for any order of $15 and above !!!! yes – your condo is within their radar area !
My selected items are :
A) each member shall pre-choose his/her dinner from :
1- teriyaki chicken with rice -$5.80
2- lemon plum chicken with rice -$5.80
3- curry chicken with rice -$5.40
4- steam rice with unagi -$5.80
5- sweet & sour fish with rice – $5.20
6- fried rice with egg & drumlet -$5.00

B) we can order some/all of these for them to top up their meal:
1- lady fingers in spicy chilli -$6.00
2- fried cabbage with prawns -$8.00
3- french beans with small prawns -$8.00
4- 9 pcs fried fish balls -$4.00
P.S ## I have NOT ordered from them before – so do not ask me for their quality etc… but I trust for them to be in biz. they must be OK > good ++ it is pretty cheap ! other caterer will demand min. 30 or more persons costings !!
NO sign of HALAL mark in their ” Water-Rise” – brochure !!!

Has anyone tried this caterer “Water-Rise” before? We’re thinking of having them cater our dinner for the next Eastern gathering at my place, scheduled for 2nd Oct. It’ll be a singing cum games session, swimming included too, if you’re keen.
