  49. I had stayed overnite at a kukup house before and so will remind the married that there wont be too much of a spousal union to look forward to.

    Those who hv yet to consummate their marriages, trust me, you wont get to do it. With everyone lying next to you and next to your spouse, it’s quite a show (or show-off) to make yr marriage complete (if it hasnt been completed). And worst, not many can resist the temptation to do after watching what you hv done.

    Therefore, take Terence’s point. Forget abt sleeping cos many eyes will be peeping and that wont be in keeping with SHC canons…………

    (Heee, actually huh, Kukup isnt too far a drive up and at my last trip there, the headcount at nite was more and the operator did suspect somethg was amiss as his food ran out very quickly each time the plates were refilled.)

    Btw, if it’s the same house then the k’ok system isnt anythg to shout for……..you sing louder without the mic but when you start screaming into it, waves of 10 metre high come wrapping you but the mic remains as dead.

Apparently, they know who exactly your bf is and so they refused to accept currencies bearing face of that moustachioed wearing an imperial topi…………your loss on 2 counts.

    Susan-T, as you know, the house stands on stils or pole. So there can be a lot of pole danzing, esp at low tide but you’ll still hv to watch out for droppings from above cos high tide or low tide, people still hv their shorter interval tides……..

    Turns out the transfer could not be done yesterday (and probably on an earlier occasion) because the ATM was out of receipt roll paper. Seems that is how the ATM system works. Wish they had displayed a message informing customers of this whenever their ATMs run out of paper instead of wasting our time.

    From what I gather, fishing at Kukup isn’t that good any more. I’ll only be bringing light fishing gear, suitable for catching tamban and the like.

    You can use a handline (reel) for this, though I prefer a rod and reel as it’s less of a hassle.

    Still have not decided on the bait, and where to get some. May resort to using feathered tamban hooks only.

    Yes, heard that fishing at Kukup is nothing great. Will be bringing a short rod and reel. I think we need the small size feathered tamban hooks. Can get the hooks at most fishing tackle shops. It would be better if we can get baits
    together with the feathered hooks. Maybe we can get some sotong from the resort kitchen. Probably have to pay the cooks unless Dan can make special arrangements with the resort owner.

    Some changes to the pickup timing due to the jams at the Immigration Point.

    Pickup Point at Newton Centre hawker centre will be at 9.00am and 2nd pickup point at Jurong Point (Bus stop opposite the NTUC)at 9.30am.
