Hello Everyone,

I registered with SHC sometime in Feb’08.  I was busy than so didnt find time to join in your activities.  But I always find your forum very interesting to read.

My name is LIN, age 60.  Married, have a daughter working in Melbourne.

My hobbies are walking workout, swimming and like reading some fashion/Lifestyle magazine during my leisure time.  I like dancing too but is there help for 2 left foot.

    Welcome to you, belated 5 months, and have not met you as you have indicated you have not taken part in any activities. From your profile I could not gather your gender, please clarify. Anyway the SHCians would definitely love to meet you and to know more about you, come to our monthly meeting on 16th July at 4pm or thereabouts, and that will be the beginning journey of friendships among SHCians.

    To that, my retort is, “”China’s) Lin Dan cha bo meh………….?”

    But of cos, Lin did say that”Lin is my name” and Dolly is more than likely to be correct with her guess (she is usally alternatingly correct in her gueeses).

    Whatevr, Lin, most welcome to SHC. In here, we hv longer Lis, like Lina-N, Lena-W, Lum-Fook who is almost a Lin and not forgetting yours truly Limpei…………..

    Welcome to the club! Talking about dancing, you come to the right place.

    Right now we have members attending dance class in Kembangan CC for Samba, Geylang Bahru for Waltz, Kovan CC for Social Waltz, Clementi CC for Retro Dance, Inter Rock n Roll n Bachata. Next, we are into Rock n Roll, Samba n again Social Waltz n Rhythm!

    Two left foot, no problem, Tim san have the same difficulty. We are waiting for him to pluck some courage to join us. Come and join us for the Jam at Raffles Town club tonight!

    and Rhythm. Please let me know when the class commence ok.

    I dont think I can join you gals and guys this evening in RTC. No dancing shoes and 2 left foot. How?

  12. If reading fashion is definitive of a woman then how would one explain Danz’ dancing far more than a cabaret queen would and still remains a man?

    It’s not that I hv 2 left feet but rather, toes growing under my feet that makes dancing impossible. But if anyone wants me to dig a hole for him/her, I can do that effortlessly and in double quick time.

    Men DO read fashion and lifestyle magazines but they would die rather than admit to doing so, especially on an open site like this. So that was why I concluded that you definitely was not a man. ;-)

    Our Samba class start August 1, 2008 at Clementi CC from 8.00-9.00pm.

    The Bachata class will end soon and taken over by the Rhythm n Waltz class from 9.00-10.00 also at Clementi CC on August 1, 2008.

    Was prompted to this page on the site. I’m a newbie to SHC, just registered today! Never had the time or opportunity to participate in blogs/forum/chats, etc. Thought this is only meant for kids!?! :P To be honest, never made the efforts to want to try them anyway as I tend to think it will take too much time to find my way around or the people on these chats/blogs are usually much younger!

    Anyway, this is my first attempt…also wanted to see if I will get any response back here!
