  15. Hi Yew Kwong,

In order to instil more INTEREST in TRAVELLING among SHC members may I suggest if you can allow us members, Steven and Veronique to show our videos on Perth and Vietnam after viewing the Padang n Bkt. Tinggi Tour.

    Play in priority:-

    1) SHC 4D/3N Padang n Bkt. Tinggi Tour ( 1st-4th Aug. 2009 )

    2. SHC 5D/4N Perth Tour ( 5th-9th April 2009 )

    3. SHC 5D to 8D Ho Chi Minh Tour).
Many Thanks to Chiang Cheng Pun for compiling the Video
segments and giving each of us a complimentary copy of
his customised DVD with soothing music and beautiful
images incorporated. ) Bonus issue :- Famous Vietnamese
Water Puppet Show made possible because of Tian Soo’s
suggestion to visit this Water Palace on our own from
    our 1D-2D extended stay.

    Looking forward to your reply.

  16. Hi Steven….I am not the EO but I am preparing the food, so I hope I hve a say :-)))….Pls pls go ahead to show your videos …..My only hope (as well as the EOs) is that everyone that nite enjoy themselves. Jus be happy! Anyone want to show anything, jus show….only remember to abide by our SHC motto…no sex, no poli, no MLM…:-))

Also for info, someone is showing her Padang video too.

Psst Psst….Also for info…THE someone is bringing along his girlfriend (another SHC member too)!!! cant wait to find out who she is :-)))))

Hello Big Chief….I read your post on the garage sale that u are on hospi leave…are u at home in Singapore or home in Bangkok?…If the former, why not come by the chalet? Laughter is the best medicine u know…Dolly’s gonna be there!! U dont hve to eat as u need to watch your diet..no “tak” (poisonous) food like prawns, sotong etc..but u can have YK’s n D’s New water..:-)) How abt that?

  17. Hi Yew Kwong,

Due to strenuous “rowing” machine exercise of 3000m yesterday at the gym , my legs are hurting.

Need a rest, so today’s cycling at 3 or 4.30 pm is out .
Instead I will meet all of you at the chalet for BBQ and maybe staying overnight.

  18. Hi Yew Kwong and June Lim,

Thanks for organising this enjoyable party. Enjoyed myself very much with the good food and good company. Havent had the energy and zest for a good laugh for a long time until tonight.

Thanks Lily, Sockie and Bira for making me laugh so much. I truly enjoy all the naughty jokes and teases.

Sorry that I gate-crashed tonight’s BBQ – actually I did call Dolly in advance to let her know that I could actually make it because of the cancellation of my other appointment.

Glad that I made it :)

Have a great Sunday. I know I will cos I will be sleeping with naughty thoughts and a smile on my face.

    Cheers
    Caroline Gee

  19. Hi June Lim and Yew Kwong,

….Thanks for organising this enjoyable party.
Enjoyed myself very much with the good food and
    good company.

June, not only you took the initiative to rent the chalet on our behalf , organise the BBQ and on top of it, you even
donated $100 generously to the event.

Aren’t you a wonderful lady to do all the marketing of food stuffs , seasoning the pork steak , sausages, prawns and sotongs SINGLE HANDEDLY without any assistants ?

I had checked out the chalet at 10.30 AM the next day and a deposit of $50 was returned to me. I had transfer the amount of $50 to your account 041-13854-8 on 16/08/09 by ATM ,today and my ref no: is 8777. at 16:19 PM.

Pls update your bank book and check whether the amount has been successfully remitted back to you.

  20. Hi BBQs,

Despite the sound of mahjong tiles clashing abt , at 12:48 AM. I used a pillow to shield the light and cover my ears and was fast asleep. Zzzzzzzzzzz.

I woke up and to my surprise, the room was so quiet and all the mah jong kakis, Dolly,Lily,Yew Kwong and Sock Gee have “vanished” into thin air.

Although the other bed was empty, none of them stayed over night. However, in the darkness , I could hear as if there is a person snoring in the room 2x. I rubbed my eyes and look at the empty bed once again.

Eehh ! No body lah. How come got snoring sound?

Aiyah, hope the chalet we had stayed in is not HAUNTED.
Time to call the Ghost Busters!

  21. Hi Steven….I am not as wonderful as u make me out to be. I did the stuff bec the 2 ladies were unable to help out. Lily was on course and AhNee was sick. And in my generation, I dont expect the guys to do the marketing nor preparing the food…:-))). So that leaves with yours truly..:-0))

The next BBQ, we can do away with the chalet and therefore cut down the costs.

Thanks much for getting back the depo for me.. Thanks.

  22. Hi Steven
You are darn right. All that you have said about June Lim. She did single handedly organised the BBQ for the cycling event from booking of chalet, renting of table & chairs to food preparation, plus she generously sponsored $100; AND WITHOUT ANY COMPLAINT OR CREDIT GRABBING. She is indeed a rare breed.

    June,
I salute you, and thank you once again for all your hardwork. Boy, you had prepared enough food to feed an army leh! :)

A BIG THANK YOU too –
To those who chipped in to help out on the night itself… be it the preparation & setting up, cooking & fanning, putting out the fire, holding the torch light, feeding those who were working, photographing, cleaning & clearing, etc. etc. You folks are great friends who do not expect to be served but helped to serve instead. Thanks. :)

  23. Steven & Lily

Yes you 2 are right, must take my hat off to June for what she had done single handedly. Not an easy task for anyone who does not have a maid to help. 3 cheers for June ;0)

There were indeed enough food to feed any army and we have a great eating, laughing plus the fire figthing. It was a night of camaradie where evreyone pitched in to make this night an enjoyable one for all, especially the ‘fire starter’ Lily or else we all have to eat food raw LOL

Hope we did not disturb too much of Steven’s slumber with our MJ game and btw why hor who is Sock Gee huh, hope she was not the one snoring cuz Sockie had decided not to stay for the night kekekekekekek

    Sockie

  24. Yeap, thanks to June for BBQ gathering arrangement single handedly, I oso saluate u hor… I m sure dat everyone had a fun nite, tio bo? Cheers.. Dolly

  25. Hi June @#31,

Thanks for your understanding, if not for my cough, for almost 2 weeks, I would have the energy to help you. I really missed the FUN you all had at the Chalet!

    Steven @#30,
Next time when there’s a empty bed beside you………put all your “barang barang” on the empty bed so that “G_h_osss” won’t have a chance to sleep there and snoorzzzeeee…..hehehe…..

    Ah Nee

  26. Hi Ah Nee,

    …Steven @#30,
Next time when there’s a empty bed beside you………put all your “barang barang” on the empty bed so that “G_h_osss” won’t have a chance to sleep there and snoorzzzeeee…..hehehe…..

Chop my barang 2 on the bed,the gals will throw them away.
Mana Ai Sai, yat kor kuag tub leong gor sheen.
