  1. Helo miss Sockie

Dont distribute cigars la..instead, u shud bury it & then make a wish…so that our home is free from ‘haze’!..
    lagi bagus..haha

  2. Norlinda

I agree with you. Why distribute something harmful?

Besides ‘haze’, ;-) , cigar and cigarette smoke also leave a residual pungent odour on both the smokers and indirect smokers’ clothes and hair. >:(

Just a note to all smokers. Are you aware that you get ‘smoker’s breath’ which is as bad as or worse than bad breath? ):(

No offence meant to smokers, but that’s the truth, embarrassing though it may be.

  3. Hi Nor

    Awak banjak pandai !!

Tobacco also makes good insect repellent. Sock the cigars in water and spray the liquid on plants infected with crawling insects. They will not be killed instantly but will move away just like you do when you stand next to a smoker.

  4. Wow, so many anti-smokerss in our midst but not sure who will die faster or smell better to another smoker, hehe.

“Dont distribute cigars la..instead, u shud bury it..…so that our home is free from ‘haze’!”

    You really think so?

Earthworms, centipedes living in the soil cant move away from their natural habitat so they will have to get use to the cigars. They soon discoveer what cigars are for and get turned on. Then they start smoking. Vegetables and fruit trees growing in the vicinity too can move away so they will absorb all the smoke.

Non smokers eat rice, vegetables, fruits grown in this smoke fertilised soil. Happily and sooner than tomorrow, they get a hang of smoking and a pang if there’s no smoke in their food. Then we have smoked ham, smoked ducks, smoked salmon and smoked food of every kind & descript. Almost everyone becomes a ssmokers and is linked to smoking and so smokers dominate. But smokers being considerate folks wont tell non-smokers that they’re smelly, with bad breath altho they really are to the bigger than majority smokers. .

Thanks a lot Sockie for creating a Shangrila and bringing nirvana to us and best, converting non-smokers to hard core smokers, unwittingly if you like..

But for me, I am going slow with cigarettes. It has got nothing to do with cigars, fidel castro, earthworms or not welcoming this beautiful world. Simply, it pains me to see my better half suffering a runny nose each time after I smoke.

  5. Hi Tim,

This must be the best news of the year. It’s definitely good to hear that it pains you to see your better half having a running nose when you smoke. And, it’s also about time you show some concern for yourself.

    Terence Seah

  6. I cant call you Sengh when you are so nice to me and saying it so nicely. Thanks Terence for being my friend thru fun and the funny, together helping some folks out of their woes and together, again, to ogle the same whores.

Altho she has a sensitive nose which becomes runny when there’s cigarette smoke around, neither she nor her nose run away from me. My contrition tells me that I shd not make her feel uncomfortable thus adding that bit more impetus to my determination to quit smoking. It’s still early days and it’ll be no small miracle if I succeed.

  7. WOW looks like I had opened a can of worm by offering a pack of cigars kekekekekek.

I grew up around people who smokes cigarttes and cigars but I am not a smoker myself. My dad died of nose and lung cancer, I believed from his heavy smoking.

I do not encourage people to smoke but since my collegue was asking around to give this away, I thought instead of throwing them away I could give this to those who appreaciate it.

These had been spoken for liao so no more cigars to give away.

Anyway it is good to know that Tim is slowing down on his smoking for the sake of his better half and I am sure she will be smiling so sweetly from the bottom of her heart now reading this post…..keep it up Ah Tim hor kekekekekek.

  9. Why poison someone by distributing the cigars? It’s great to know that you finally decided not to engage in distributing ‘poison’. It’s a good karma

  10. Steven #9

Wellll like the saying goes ‘One man’s meat is another man’s poison’ or should I say ‘One man’s poison is another man’s meat’ hahahahahaha

Wonder if I was to give a diabetic 3 packets of doughnuts instead ……will I be seen to be distributing ‘poison’ too huh

Anyway I was only doing this because I thought it would be a waste to throw away an expensive pack of ‘poison’ which could be someone else’s meat…… little do I know that I will attract such strong reaction haiz

Relax, relax hor I am not here to peddle harmful mechandise…………..

Actually I do have some tea leaves to give away too. To cut a long story short, I have at home enough tea leaves to last me for a while and am looking for tea drinkers who want to take some of these off my hands. Any takers?????

    Sockie

  11. Hi Sockie

I raise my hand for the tea you want to donate to drinkers
of tea. Can I receive from you tomorrow evening at the gathering. I will be attending for the first time, though
consider a “lau cheow” (old bird) in SHC. Thank you Sockie.

The furore on distributing the three cigars is like viewing the universe with a pinhole len. A diverse world of equally diverse personalities. Whatever we do we are being scrutinised, maybe TimL will used the word screwed (Sorry TimL, seems I can analyse your bionic mind. Even Section/Article 377A cannot elude a wisecrack like you. Thanks for the explanation for the benefit of SHCians.)

Sockie, take it with a pin of salt. Thanks for the tea which
I presume you will be giving me the “longjincha” or whatever will be good for a ‘Don Juan’ look after drinking.

Aiya me ok one lah…..no offence taken… not gonna let 3 silly sticks of cigars start a big fire kekekekekekek.

In fact I am quite amused that these 3 little sticks can cause such a stir but good thing no extreme cross fire phew and the good thing is we know Tim is trying to quit smoking for the sake of his lady fair..so let’s wish him success in his quessst ;0)

Sorry cannot pass the tea to you tmr cuz I am not going to the meeting. Had canceled my class a coule of times liao and if I keep cancelling I will eventually get cancelled…talk about karma hahahaha

BTW don’t be disappointed hor, me got no lonjincha hor…my brother-in-law got some from China..dunno what these are and I bought some home made or should I say home dried ones and some bought from my holiay…..even got artichoke tea also…will put them in a bag for you and pass to you when we meet again.

    Sockie
