You’ll have to go to Hindustan for the original and authentic stuff. But if you dont mind a less expensive and more convenient alternative, take a walk down Little India. Chances are, you might not even need to enrol for any classroom lesson in a studio there bcos by the time you finish yr walk from Selegie to Kitchener Rd, there’ll be throngs of enthusiastic twinkle toes to form a circle and dance around you, and as you watch, you’ll learn and soon join them in the dance.
So you might want to check whether you hv all it takes to be a good H dancer. The first step starts with pushing yr head forward and pulling it back rapidlycasionally jerking it left & right. If you dont faint, you know you’ll make a good natural dancer and you’re all ready for that Serangoon Rd walk.
Lest i forget, yes, welcome to the world of some Senghs but mostly sane saints………
